What's the difference between trioral and NormaLyte?

With reviews on Trioral like, "If you drink this you're not human", "tastes worse than ocean water", and "would die before drinking" it's safe to say that people often do not find Trioral palatable. NormaLyte uses a proprietary blend that uses less sugar and sodium in each stick in order to be more palatable and easier on the stomach while still using the World Health Organization's formula. How many grams of sugar? My husband is diabetec and I'd like him to try this product but it does not specify the sugar sources or carb sources

NormaLyte contains 7 grams of sugar per stick. For oral rehydration, glucose facilitates the absorption of sodium (and hence water!). It takes a 1:1 ratio to work. One molecule of glucose to one molecule of sodium go together in your small intestine to hydrate you through the sodium glucose cotransport system.
