Jiva Organic Bulgar Wheat - grown in the USA! It's delicious and just the right cut. Easy to cook and eat. I do 'cheat' and cook in my rice cooker so I don't have to watch it. Perfect for my use. It's a bit lighter and fluffier cooked in the rice cooker - and I personally like that. I cannot get a good quality bulgar locally - and I would totally purchase this brand happily. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I love the nutty taste and chewy texture of bulgar, and it's impossible to find in stores anymore. This bulgar is perfect.

This product cooks easily and tastes great on its own. Used to make Tabouli salad and then as a side dish as well as added to cold mix lettuce salad.

It’s hearty sweet and filling- can keep you feeling full for a long time and keep blood sugar levels from spiraling up and out of control… good carbs and substitution for rice…! Diabetics can benefit greatly by switching from rice to this product and reduce sugar spikes…very short cooking times. Soaking in water helps to lock in nutrients and shorten cooking times…
