Easy to use. Thoroughly cleaned recliner chair and carpet in one room. I took the chair outdoors and blew old greasy dust off it before using product. Then it was able to clean the fabric. I blew the product off the chair. Used the vacuum on the carpet inside. Brushed the powder into the barely moistened carpet. The spritzer applies adequate misting of liquid. Let it dry about 30 minutes. Then vacuumed in several directions. It worked great!

I have a wool rug 8 x 10 in living room. Get dirty from time to time but too much hassle to take to get cleaned. This works great! I have used this cleaner for years and never been disappointed...

It is an ambivalent review. I am not happy with the product but I am satisfied with the result.The product came defected- the lid of the powder bucket was off and about a quarter of powder poured in the outter box. And I actually saw another review with such problem before buying, never thought it would happen to me.But I didn't return it. Why? I called customer service and they told me it takes a few days to get me a new one and in the meantime, I have to return the old one. But I already have my Sunday scheduled for carpet cleaning and I won't be available for the next week. So I decided to use the defected product anyway. Yes, the powder poured a bit on my floor when I open the box... but I need to scatter the powder anyway... What can I complain?The thing is I recently moved to a new place and it is a wall-to-wall carpet house. Although the landlord promised that the carpet has been just professionally cleaned but there's still this strange odor in the bedrooms. I wanted to rent a carpet cleaner but it is too much work and honestly, the carpet is really clean judging from vacuuming- it is just the odor.So I did my homework online and found this cleaning set. And it worked. I have cleaned the carpet in one bedroom and staircase, and the odor is GONE!!! Generally, it is easy to use but it does take some effort to vacuum all the powder, especially those in corners and the bottom of the walls. And I like the smell- it smells clean and nice during the work but no perfume left when the job is done, which is great for my sensitive nose.I am ordering another bucket of powder for other rooms. And I really wish this time I won't get a box of loose powder again!Advice for the manufacturer: please make the lid tighter! or notice the delivery to use caution!

This is a product I used for many years, a long time ago. Had not seen it in stores in recent years.I know it works and that it keeps my carpets smelling fresh.Disappointed that there is less product at a much higher cost than a few years ago. Still happy to know that it is still available.Pet safe, easy to use. I put it down in the evening and vacuum in the morning.

My indoor/outdoor rug is used in our family room. It had a diffinet travel path in front of the couch and a # of spots where food/sauces had soaked in. I was going to take it outside and hose it down but hubby thought that was a lot of work and might need a couple days drying time. I really like that this kit has the pre-spray which I used liberally. The brush is included (you can screw in your own handle to use like a broom but I used without that). I waited a couple of hours and was amazed how good the rug cleaned up. FYI Maybe I was heavy-handed because I was cleaning a single 8x10 rug and barley applied to “untrafficed” parts of the rug and used 2/3 of the tub that was supposed to clean 3 whole rooms. But the main thing is that it got the job done. Knowing this, If I had a bigger job I’d get more of the powder.
