Most of us - Project creators / designers / that just want to have a common power plug for all of our projects.. these are awesome! i'm one of those guys that like to power my action cams without switches everywhere - so I like a single plug spliced sometimes to 4 and more to my hacked 12vdc - 5vdc supplies, simple - plug and hot. Now the best part - we all have old power supplies to "something" - that the cords have failed, easy function, to splice in and get a great fit, and back in business! - thank you!

I bought this to wire up a 10 second time delay relay between an external hard drive and its power supply. I only needed one set, but the rest will be useful for other 12 volt projects. They’re well-made and the price was very reasonable.

These work well for what they’re intended for .. up to 2 amps. However, the resistance/voltage drop was higher than expected .. about 0.5 volt at 2 amps. Most applications (repairs or retrofitting) for these at this site, are up to only about 300mA. Beyond that, we use something better. Much of the resistance is at the plug crimps, as shown in the photo. Total resistance per wire and plug was about 100 milliohm .. both + and -.

They fit the Arduino barrel jack and that is what I ordered them for. Appear to be well made.

I needed to replace three barrel plugs on different projects, as the ones that came with the devices were too thin and frail. I broke the cables a couple of times and had to repair them, I decided to just completely replace them. I found these and bought them immediately. They were exactly what I was looking for. Replacement was easy, and the cables are now color coded as I like them. The molded cable and plugs are made to last and are very well insulated. This is a complete set and are a great value for the price. They are also top quality for piece of mind. I highly recommend them and give them 5 stars.

Good quality and work fine.

I didn't measure the gauge, but it's pretty hefty (more than I wanted/needed for driving my roller blinds motor). The connection is very snug, unlikely to wiggle loose, and red matches red, black matches black, no measurable resistance and no cross-talk. I only tested the two that I used (one pair for a different project not pictured here), so can't swear on the whole bag, but it's made for some nice and neat removable connections in my projects so I'm happy. One caveat, as some have mentioned, there is a millimeter or two of exposed metal between the connectors when fully engaged, so be sure ground is on the outside where applicable.
