Great value for your money!
You're getting what you pay for with these. They're a basic good particle board material and likewise quality screws and hardware. BUT, I have paid more for way crappy. The top part is quite nice and beautiful, and I'm sure it is true wood. It took me and 1.5 of my children about 2 hours to put together the first time. I liked the item so much I decided to get the same item again (this was pretty much the original plan, but I wanted to see how I liked it first). The 2nd time it took two of us a little more than an hour to put together, since we knew what we were doing, but we got a little too cocky and had to undo and flip a mistake towards the end. Our bad set up back 15 mins. The instructions are pretty dang good and everything is nicely labeled, and it's nicely designed for putting together and also for staying together and being sturdy. We got these for our laundry room, one of the two bin cabinets is being used for outdoor toys. I'm kind of questioning this decision, however, since it seems risky as to the total weight of the items. However, it seems quite a bit sufficient for laundry and garbage and the drawers on top are so much cooler than I expected, we find them incredibly useful (garbage bags, car and house keys, garden and work gloves, cleaning rags). If you're considering getting something like these and you like what's in the picture, don't look any more, they're worth it.

Good looking and hides the trash
The cabinet wasn't too difficult to assemble. My husband did it by himself and didn't have any issues (he's pretty handy with stuff like this). The cabinet is a little flimsier feeling than I expected, but after almost 4 months, it's still working well so that's good. The two drawers on top are great, but not as deep (front to back) as I hoped. And, the bottom of them is not real solid. I wanted to use one as my "junk" drawer but was afraid items would be too heavy. So, I cleaned up and organized my "junk" into pencil boxes, and that actually is working very well even though it is still a bit heavy. The other drawer holds my additional trivets and hot pads. One drawer is not perfectly aligned so sometimes it doesn't close all the way very well, but I just need to reopen and jiggle it and it does close completely. The best part is that it hides our trash and recycle so that I constantly have to show guests where to put their trash. Also, the top is great for additional counter space. I have all of my cookbooks lined up and a tall fruit basket/banana holder on top. I feel like it's holding those well with no worry about the sturdiness to hold that. UPDATE 12/24: It's now been over a year, and this cabinet is still working great! I am really happy with this purchase. I even learned that I could remove one screw on the door hinge to lower the door all the way out/down so that I could clean underneath the trash can. Figured it out all by myself (and I'm NOT so handy with stuff like this).

Tedious assembly but worth the effort.
Sturdy and looks great. The assembly instructions are clear and precise however there is a great number of components and hardware which makes assembly very tedious. It took me 4 hours to assemble and I am adept at these tasks. If you're ready for a long project the end result is well worth the effort. The Trash Cabin will definitely add style and functionality to the room where placed.

Trash Cabinet
Very attractive and a good way to hide trash cans and recycling in a small kitchen.

Great Looking Unit
Nice sturdy unit, once completed. Directions were good enough. A lot of different fasteners. 10 gallon capacity either side. Drawer size adequate. Base, top and doors made of durable and thick material. Lid opens wide enough for large trash items. Would be difficult for animals to access. Great value except for additional shipping.

A nice looking and solid piece.
So far so good. Not too hard to put together but once it’s together, it’s very sturdy. Nice looking piece. We’re using it for recycling.

Nightmare to build, scratched top piece out of box
First of all, this is not black with a wooden top. The whole unit is black the top is black. The images are wrong. Second, building this thing has been a complete nightmare. Opening the box is so difficult from the jump. It only opens from the end and you have to pull everything out. Then the instructions have you flipping the unit over back and forth and at sometimes it tells you to put pieces together in suspended air while pieces are just putting pressure on each other. The smaller pegs are also very very loose, so they leave gaps in the holes they go into and are not sturdy at all. This caused one piece to fully just snap and break. Broke the “wood” piece and the pegs, which there were no extra pieces of so I guess Im screwed. The top is also completely scratched up straight out of the box. I finally got it upright and saw all the imperfections and realized even after flipping this over and over it wasnt worth it. It sucks that I paid for this and Ill probably have to pay to get the the trash to take it away. Ironic…

Looks great and good quality
I love the way the cabinet looks and it turned out to be nice quality. I spray painted the hardware pulls black to match the rest of my kitchen drawer pulls. My only complaints is that it comes in about 25 separate pieces and some were missing their number stickers and one was mis-numbered. Figured it out through process of elimination. Directions are pretty easy but 2 steps I installed backwards at first due to instruction pictures being easy to misunderstand. Overall I love the way it turned out and it also took about 2 hours to build.

We’re very pleased with the quality of this furniture. It was easy to assemble (took about 2-3 hours for a single person).
