If you're music, these things are GREAT! I previously had a set of Q-20's that broke it's headband and was no longer usable. I went with an off brand and sent them back due to AM quality music. So I shopped and bought a set of Q-30's. Even though battery life is limited I gave them 5 stars for their excellent sound quality. Then I read about these Q-45's at about double the money of the Q-30's. In fact, I believe the Q-45's are the Soundcore top of the line. Still, 1/4 the price of name brands. The only thing I don't know about is the battery life and will update this review when I get a real handle on it. Either way, the sound quality is all Soundcore and they get 5 stars for their excellent sound quality. I can't even imagine spending over 500 dollars for a set of blue tooth headphones with these things around. The issues with the headband seemed to be solved even with the Q-30's, making the Q-30's the best bang for your buck. These Q-45's aren't double the Q-30's in headphone quality or anything else. In fact, you can't really tell them apart. They are on par with them at double the money. UPDATE: Battery life is very good. While I don't think it's 50 hrs, it's certainly at least double the Q-30's. And the Q-45's also use the Q-20's software engine, which announces the battery life everytime you first turn them on. A big plus Both have the same sound cancelling ability which is excellent. I really don't see any discernible difference at all, other than battery life. If music is you? I very confidently highly recommend these headphones. Like I said at the top, when you first get them, click the bass up switch on the app and watch David Gilmour - Comfortably Numb (Live At Pompeii) on YouTube, you'll be a believer. Just watch your ears, as you can turn these up very loud. In my opinion, the only company Anker Soundcore is competing with is themselves. I don't care what they are, you're NOT going to find better sound quality out of a pair of headphones than Soundcore. "Oh, the Bose, are best, or the Beats are best." No, they're not. Even 55 dollar Q-30's can easily compete with all of them. And if the bass isn't punchy enough, they all use an app that has a full equalizer that can custom calibrate it. The Q-45's have an actual bass up switch and it's all they could possibly need. Hard to beat that. And if you don't care about the app, the Q-20's are only 39 dollars today, But you do have to watch the headband, they also sound fantastic. Like I said, Soundcore is only competing against themselves.

For the price, this is a great headphone. Sound quality is higher than I expected. These are light and the ear pads are comfortable, even with glasses. I really like the multiple Bluetooth connectivity but do wish that I could manually select which input I want. Do note that this headset will okay only one of the connected devices, it does not mix them. Range is great and the battery life is too. The noise cancelling is OK, plenty for my use. The pass-through is good too but not the best. These offer a great mid-to-high resolution but any significant bass will take some of that quality away. I've been wearing them daily for about 6 months for work and have received no complaints over microphone quality or connectivity issues when using the microphone. The value recieved at this price point would be difficult to beat with other options.

The soundcore q35 Bluetooth headphones are good for the price I paid. They cancel background noise very well and the battery lasts quite a long time. The sound quality is good and it has an app that lets you tweak the equalizer settings to something that you like. I wouldn't say that they're the best quality in terms of bass or for watching movies but they work well. The microphone on the headphones seem to work well, I haven't gotten a complaint from people who I've called yet. A few drawbacks is it takes a long time to charge. A decent trade off for the long battery life. There are plenty of buttons that control stuff but without the instructions, I've already forgotten what they do. That's a personal problem though. The noise cancelling functions can be a bit problematic due to the fact that your range of noticing things becomes vision based. I was watching a movie and received a text informing me that the weather was getting very bad. I took my headphones off and finally heard the storm and tornado sirens. So, if you use the noise cancelling function, which can be controlled from the app, be aware of your surroundings. Overall, I got these on sale and I love them. I only use them at home and have not had any issues with them.

Nowadays, I wouldn't buy a pair of bluetooth headphones blindly (or deafly?) online unless it comes with an app that allows you to tweak the sound/EQ. There's no point in spending money on a pair of headphones, only to not like the sound when they arrive. There are 3rd-party EQ phone apps, but those are sometimes dubious, plus they only work with the phone/tablet device being used at the time. It's best to have the native headphone's app do it within the headphones themselves, in which the custom EQ settings travel with the headphones to whatever device/system is being used -- even those without the possibility of EQ apps. So with built-in EQ, you don't have to worry as much about whether the headphones match your preferred sound profile -- at least, to a point, since some things like soundstage and the "feel" of open vs. closed headphones can't be customized, although the "Transparency" app settings sort of emulate the latter a bit, albeit via noise cancellation. These headphones come with a really good app for configuring most things (with one feature request down below*), including the EQ, noise cancelation, volume limiter, firmware updates, etc. You can also configure the headphones to auto-power-off if not in-use after 30/60/90/120 minutes or "never" (default is 60 minutes). The 8-band EQ has a 21 presets (or 22 if you count the "BassUP" on/off toggle on their "sound core Signature" preset), along with allowing to create/save multiple custom EQ profiles. The app finds and connects to the headphones immediately with both my Pixel 7 and Pixel 3 (which I now use as just a tiny tablet, since it only has WiFi). I only have Android phones, so I can't speak for the iPhone app, but I'd guess that it is the same, other than the LDAC stuff (which Apple devices don't support, and will default to AAC). Note that these headphones don't support any aptX protocols, so your options are LDAC/AAC/SBC for Android devices and AAC/SBC for Apple devices (both phones and computers). My computer is an Apple MacBook Air M1, so I can vouch for the AAC connection on that, although when sitting at my computer, I prefer using my wired headphones (Beyerdynamic 880's). But overall, I am liking these Q45's more than my Sennheiser HD 350BT bluetooth headphones. I don't really use noise cancelation, so I can't speak to that in subjective terms, and so keep in mind that my rating does not take into account noise cancellation. But in terms of features, it has a lot of customization, with both traditional NC modes (with five custom levels plus adaptive/automated) as well as separate transparency modes (with five custom levels plus "talk" mode). But even with the NC turned off ("Normal" setting), the headphones actually block-out quite a bit of noise naturally, since they seem to form an almost air-tight suction. The battery seems to last long too. I'm a person that re-charges any device before it goes below 60%, so I can't say how long a full battery drain lasts, but I go quite awhile between charges nonetheless, even using LDAC (which uses more battery). In AAC/SBS mode (not LDAC), probably slightly better than my Sennheiser HD 350BT's, while in LDAC mode, probably a bit worse (but only a bit). For comfort, I find these very comfortable with prolonged use. I just bought a new Pixel 7 phone (w/Android 13), and the bluetooth w/LDAC works extremely well with this phone/headphone combo, with no connectivity issues under reasonable use, even when LDAC is forced to 990kbps. The headphones also connect to the phones fairly quickly. In terms of holding the connection w/LDAC, I live in a two-bedroom apt with each bedroom on opposite ends of the apt, separated by ~20 feet. I put the phone in the furthest corner of one bedroom, shut the door, and walked around the apt: --LDAC @990kbps: It worked fine without any skips up to ~30 feet away and through one wall (including door closed). I didn't start to have skips until going into the other bedroom with its door also closed -- so not until over 30 feet away and through two walls. --LDAC @660kbps: I couldn't break it within my apt. No skips, even in the second bedroom with both bedroom doors closed -- so it still worked at ~35 feet away and through two walls (including both doors closed). --I didn't bother checking 330kbps, since 660kbps worked so well in all my scenarios. --LDAC Best Effort (Adaptive): Same behavior as @660kbps (never breaks/skips), which tells me that Android isn't actually operating at @990kbps (either part of the time or never), even though the Android ADB logs always say @990kbps at initial connection with no subsequent changes. So at least partially, it is operating @660kbps or @330kpbs. But the vagueness of Adaptive LDAC mode isn't the fault of these (or any) headphones -- this is an Android issue. However, the choice to use Adaptive LDAC mode in the first place is controllable, which brings me to my one gripe below... *My one complaint/request for the app is that it could force-customize the LDAC settings. All it allows you to do is enable LDAC (Preferred auto quality) or disable LDAC (Combine audio and connection, which then defaults to AAC). In the Android Developer settings, it always defaults to "Best Effort/Adaptive", which doesn't tell you what it's doing, even in the ADB logs, which only logs 990kbps at first connection, but never logs subsequent adaptive changes. There's a Sony Music Center app that works for some people in forcing the LDAC bit rate mode, but when I tried it, it only worked around 50% of the time on both my Pixel 7 w/Android 13 and Pixel 3 w/Android 12, so I ended-up removing the app. But it apparently works for others, and if Sony can apparently force the LDAC settings within their app, why shouldn't the SoundCore app be able to do it too? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like the SoundCore app to force-customize the LDAC settings. Ideally, I'd like it to control the actual bit rate mode (ie, explicitly set it to 990kbps or 660kbps), as well as set the sample rate and bit size, since I don't listen to music beyond 44.1kHz/16-bit anyway, and so I also like to down-tune the sample rate/bit size to 44.1kHz/16-bit, to save a bit of phone battery. But at the very least, the app should be able to force-set the main LDAC bit rate setting (990/660/330/adaptive), so we don't have to go into the Android Developer settings every time the headphones re-connect. It's a minor nuisance, but considering that LDAC is a major selling point of the headphones -- you'd think they'd want to allow people to ensure ideal LDAC settings? Regardless, I'd still give these headphones five stars for the price range.

I’m going to GLAZEEEE these headphones for a lonnggggg time, the noise cancellation is really good- haven’t tested the transparency mode with someone else but can hear things around me good. The custom hearing test is good- definitely noticed a difference when making my own instead of default. These are also the most comfiest I’ve used tho (this might be because of my long hair) I feel a tiny slip when I look up so wish it was a little bit more firm. Used other headphones within and double the price and would chose these over any of those- would buy again.

I bought these for an upgrade from my Q20. The sound is good for a $150 but definitely wait for a sale. I even played around with the app and everything, adjusted the equalizer accordingly to some reviews these just sound like they are just missing something. In my opinion for the money the Q20 or Q30 blow these out of the water for the price for the sound out the box, except for the noise cancellation the Q20 and Q30 are very weak. I will say Q45 have exceptional good noise cancellation that is up there with the $300 ones, and the transparency mode is ok its hard to beat AirPod pro’s transparency. I was really hoping for these and a bit excited after reading some of the reviews on here. Apparently there is a burn in period for these to really sound good. Right now there are just ok. The sound quality is muddy out the box, and you have to play around with the setting to get the sound you want. The soundcore signature present doesn’t sound good at all which is sad, and the when you bass boost it, the highs are cringy. All the other preset are good for what they are. Highly recommend exploring for yourself or copy other people’s EQ. All in all they are great for the money especially when you get them on sale like I did $85. They are not the most empress sound but the ANC is amazing. Update: I returned them. I was just not happy with the sound options. You can have really clear vocals and sound with no depth of bass or really good depth with bass and terrible vocals. Tired watching a movie and thats when I finally gave up with sound tuning and just returned them. If you don’t like bass and just want clear vocals (after tuning with the app) then these may be for you. To be far you can get a little bit of bass out of them after mess with the app, but will say the presets are terrible for bass. I will add these headphones don’t sound great out of the box and you have to download the app and set your experience. Like I said early I really wanted to like these, the ANC is amazing! They are comfortable and light weight, it’s just the sound isn’t there for me.

This is top end ANC for not a top-end price. Compared to some MUCH more expensive ANC headphones we have, this is pretty much as good or better than some of the other top brands. The build feels a little less robust than I'd like, but much of that is so that it can fold into a case easily. Sound quality is excellent. Battery life is phenomenal. Overall, super pleased. The only quibble I have is that, while you can use ANC with the 1/8" wire connected, it will shut down when you connect or disconnect the cable, making it a bit annoying to have to start it back up again. Not a deal breaker, but weird. Still, it beats my last pair of wired/wireless ANC headphones that simply would not work in ANC mode with the wire connected. Overall, if you're on the fence about these, I'd say go for it.

I’ve been using the Soundcore Space Q45 for work, and they have been an absolute game-changer. These headphones are incredibly comfortable, have excellent noise cancellation, and for the price, they’re honestly a steal. I’ve compared them to my Beats Studio Pro, and the Q45s definitely give them a run for their money. Noise Cancellation and Comfort First off, the adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) is fantastic. Whether I’m in a noisy office or a café, the Q45s block out background noise perfectly. The ANC automatically adjusts to your environment, and for me, that means I can focus on work without distractions. They’re also super comfortable—I can wear them for hours without feeling any discomfort. The soft ear cups and padded headband make them perfect for long workdays . Sound Quality and EQ Customization The sound quality is impressive, especially given the price. They deliver a balanced sound profile, but if you’re like me and prefer to tweak things, the Soundcore app lets you adjust the EQ to your liking. The LDAC codec support means you can enjoy higher-resolution audio, and even though the bass can be a bit heavy out of the box, the app lets you adjust that easily. For the price, it’s hard to find better sound quality . Battery Life and Connectivity One of my favorite features is the battery life. With up to 50 hours with ANC on and 65 hours without, I don’t have to worry about charging them every day. Even when I’m in a rush, the fast charging feature comes through—5 minutes of charging gives me around 4 hours of playback. They also support Bluetooth 5.3 and multipoint connectivity, so I can easily switch between my work laptop and phone without any hassle . Beats Comparison Compared to my Beats Studio Pro, I have to say that the Q45s are just as good, if not better in some areas. The battery life and ANC performance are superior, and while the Beats might have a slight edge in sound quality, the Q45s are incredibly close for a fraction of the price . Final Thoughts Overall, the Soundcore Space Q45 headphones are an incredible deal for the price. They offer excellent noise cancellation, great sound, and long-lasting battery life. If you’re looking for a solid pair of headphones for work or commuting, these are the ones to get. They’re comfortable, reliable, and easily stand up to higher-end brands without breaking the bank.

I'm quite impressed by these. Fit: Very nice. The pads are comfortable and soft, clamping force is just right, not too tight, adjustability is more than enough, and since they swivel flat, they're great for DJing as well. The hard case they come with is very effective and sturdy — not completely hard, there's a bit of give, but the case protects perfectly fine. Controls: Pretty much what you'd want. Play/pause, volume control, next/prev track, power, and a button to toggle the ANC mode to transparent or off. Sound: Very good. Crisp-enough highs, deep bass, clear and present mids. Not audiophile quality, but absolutely perfect for the daily commute. ANC: Also very good. The passive noise cancelling of the ear cups themselves works well to mitigate high frequencies, while the active noise cancelling does a good job of cutting the low frequencies right down. If you happen to take the bus and it runs over some rough patches, you'll inevitably get spots of overcompensation from the ANC where it just can't cope, but other than that, it works very well. Accessories: I already mentioned the pretty decent hard case, but it also comes with a 3.5mm cable (if you have a device that still has a headphone jack *shakes fist at Apple*) so it can be used in wired mode, as well, which is a very nice touch. Battery life: Not amazing with ANC turned on, I'll admit, but I do get at least 15 hours with ANC on before it needs a recharge, which is more than enough for a week of my workday commute. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. They've held up over the several months I've had them so far, and the sound is very good for the sort of music I listen to, so for me, it was worth the price.

It does not seem to fit as snug around my ears to fully work with the ANC to block the sound of wind passing around the headphones as I ride my bicycle (my requirement for this purchase). (34cm ear to ear over top) equiv. to where the headband would be, and yes I know to retract the headband to make it smaller. I decided to return these, even after debating to myself that "maybe I'll keep these as like a spare?" which would be the second spare headphones I'd own.. As far as I can see, the product here is really worth the price, it has good ANC, very great audio quality, it can play sharp high-notes as well as push really deep bass that at peak can make you really feel the notes, and the included app/in app-stores is additionally very useful, within it you can control what EQ settings you want or if you want to manually select what notes to increase/decrease, within you can set the preference for ANC strength, but the function I see as the most valuable it the ability to select what max volume the headphones should go to counted in decibel, (80,90,100) allowing you to listen to music and/or have the ANC at full strength yet sparing your ears any damage due to a too high volume) Oh, and the headphones have a physical button where user can select between ANC low, high and lastly, off, or rather it passes the audio from the microphones to the elements/speakers allowing you to have a conversation with these on even without any issue as it reproduces a crisply sharp sound barely a dB off the true note, where the only difference I can think is that due to being electronics and it passing what the microphones pick up, the natural hum of everything around you is not heard though these headphones, then again you'd likely just use this setting for when you're paying in a store and don't want to feel rude by not saying hello or if they ask you for the receipt where otherwise not hearing them might look rude. No, with this anker space Q45 you can spare yourself the trouble. Again, if it had fit my criteria with the ANC blocking at least most wind brushing past as I ride my bicycle, I would definitively kept these and likely used them for whenever I listened to music, which with these would have increased, oh and they also feel great to keep on, not feeling too heavy or clumsy, quite nice just as it is.

Good deal and easy to use

Great buy. Was deciding between this and the Sony WCH720N, as they are around the same price range. I compared them side by side and found that the sound quality, material quality and comfort were better with the Space Q45. The only problem I had was regarding the fit which was quite loose around my head. Overall highly recommend this as the best bang for your buck if you care about quality lossless audio, and PNC/ANC and holds up to the same benchmarks as Apple,Sony and Bose products.

Highly recommend this brilliant piece of kit for the price. Sound quality is very good & the noise cancelling works really well. It arrived quickly.
