Had this clock for 4-5 months now - it started to lose time after 3 months. I've been replacing the battery and re-setting, only for it to work for a couple of weeks and then start losing time again. The only recommendations are to check the battery connections, there doesn't seem to be any other recourse, and the return window was 2 months. So, we basically have a faulty clock that cost $90 and worked for 3 months. Unimpressed as Newgate is a reputable brand.

My wife was stuck on purchasing this clock, and I was not a fan as we've tried several clocks in this area and they didn't look right or didn't mount right, and worst of all, you can hear the tick tock at night in the room above. But not with this clock!!! Yes, it's analog, but purely gear driven with zero tick tock. It's a smooth moving zero noise making beautiful clock. I'm so glad we bought it and it looks lovely above the panty in our kitchen. Mounted up fantastically has a good weight and keeps the time proper without need for adjustment (so far). Not sure on battery life yet, but I'm very impressed with this clock and we'll with the price.

Appearance and quality materials

Love this clock! I bought it to replace one that was stylish but hard to read. I like this one a lot better. It's really nice looking and goes well in my family room. It's completely silent. I have never had to adjust it because it keeps perfectly accurate time.

Clock runs extremely slowly. Tried a fresh battery and it loses ten minutes a week. Regret buying. Clock eventually completely broke and Newgate and Amazon were not able to help replace since outside of return window even though issue didn’t start until outside of return window. Would not recommend this clock.

This is undoubtedly one of the best looking clocks I have ever owned. Newgate.a British company, did a wonderful job designing this Master Edwards Wall Clock. To quote the description," A medium wall clock (which )fuses mid-century design with contemporary minimalist style." I get a visual pleasure in just checking the time on it.

Not only is this clock beautiful (goes great with my new gold cabinet hardware and kitchen faucet) and well made, it keeps great time. Unfortunately, being able to count on accurate time isn’t necessarily a given - even with fairly expensive clocks. Very happy with this purchase.
