Installing this light was tricky but was not too difficult because I had to swap it with my ceiling rose fittings. This light fitting is flush-fitting; it leaves a minimal gap between the lamp fittings and the ceiling. So I had to dig a bit bigger hole in the ceiling. Then I used a connector, and I connected live and neutral cables and pushed up everything inside the top, leaving two wires connected to the lamp. I like that it can be installed in two methods: recessed ( if you have a suitable hole in the ceiling) or surface mounted, which I found much more straightforward. I also like the connector; you don't need a screwdriver to connect the wires as they have a press-fit connector. You don't need a ground wire, which is good if you don't have ground wire in your room. The LEDs are bright and perfect for a bedroom. My only niggle is that I can not use this in my bathroom as the rating is IP44; I prefer to use the IP65 rating in a wet area such as a bathroom. I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.

Had to return this item. Searched for pir sensor light and this didn’t have a sensor. Amazon searches can be irritating, important to read the product description thoroughly!
