This pen was a lot easier to assemble than I had first anticipated. The rods "click" into each other using buttons meaning that their is very limited need for screwing stuff in. Just the supports and of course the door and a few other easy to screw in connectors. It even comes with the only socket you'll need. The wire is very filmsy. Keeps the chickens in just fine but if you have a predator problem (most people do or will) I would really consider some heavier duty wire. Especially around the outside. I left a hole on the back to attach my coop externally to give the birds more room. They love it so much. And just keep in mind that almost every single one of those rods have a certain way they go and face. The instructions are crap but do not assume they can all go whatever way you pick them up. There are slight differences that will come back to bite you later on when you put the supports in and the door. The zip ties are poor quaility. I would use them as place holders for now but I would plan on grabbing good ones to redo it as soon as you can. I am actually very happy with this purchase.

It was fairly easy to assemble and took around 4 hours. Probably wouldn't have taken so long but the GA heat is no joke. One issue however is some of the poles were drilled on the wrong side so a few of the nipple locks proved unusable. The door does bend a little when opening and closing, but it wouldn't take anything to run a brace across it. We ran hardware cloth along the bottom as well as boards to prevent predators from getting in, and it has worked nicely so far keeping them safe. I also built a coop on the outside and cut the chicken wire to open into the coop. The chicken wire it came with is thinner and more flimsy than what you would normally see at a feed store. Just to keep that in mind.I've had this pen for 9 months now and it is serving its purpose well. My chickens only stay in it at nighttime and free range during the day. There is a little bit of rust forming along the edges but nothing major. I actually ordered a 2nd pen of the same brand to connect the two together as my hens hatch out new babies I'll need the space and this size would only have enough room for about 6 chickens. All in all it works great and the price is nice.

Grreat run! I was able to assemble it myself in about 5 hours. It would have been less if I would have paid attention to the corner brace bolt holes. I think I put them all in backwards initially and had to flip them. The most challenging part was the wire mesh, but I was able to apply it all by myself. Having another person would cut the assembly time drastically.

This cage was easy to put together, I did it by myself. It seemed a little wobbly but got a little more sturdy once I put the chicken wire on it. I would highly recommend buying your own chicken wire, the wire provided was not good at all, very flimsy. I put two young turkeys in the cage and they tore three separate holes and got out on the first night, predators could very easily break in. I would also recommend using your own thicker zip ties, the ones provided snapped easily. I was very happy with the amount of space in the cage and I liked the provided cover.

I just wanted to say if you’re thinking about a coop, buy this one. We received the coop on aug. 8th got it put completely together on the 9th and then on the 10th a storm broke out the top of the tree that we put it under and damaged the coop severely but the coop kept our baby chicks safe and we were thankful for that. It was a big limb that hit the coop so it didn’t stand a chance but it held up surprisingly well enough for our chicks to be safe . We loved the coop and everything about it but unfortunately can’t afford to buy another so soon.

Very disappointed in these cages! I bought two for my chickens. 9 feet wide is too narrow for a decent sized coop. I have the large omlet eglu coop. Barely any room on either side to walk past the coop. This cage will obviously not protect your chickens. I bought it as a chicken run for during the day. The netting keeps pulling loose and my chickens keep getting out. I have to keep wire tying it over and over, but the wire is so thin that it literally tares. I could replace it with rabbit wire, but the wire ties eventually break from the sun or from other critters pulling at the cage, (neighbors roosters etc.). No other effective way to connect the wire to the frame. The door does not close securely either. There is too big of a gap for the latch to connect. I have to tie the door shut with a shoestring. The metal on the frame is already starting to rust out, especially at the base where the cage comes in contact with the ground. Don't waste your money. It will be in the trash in 6 months. Invest in a strong dog cage or custom-made coop! Don't even think of putting a bigger animal in it!

I was kind of expecting this to be a little bit more flimsy than it was. Directions weren't amazing, but my daughter and I put it together relatively easily. Please keep in mind that the geometrics aren't accurate so we initially tried to put the ends on the wrong direction. Once we got that figured out, it went together pretty easily. The door is a bit flimsy, and the handle is relatively pathetic so mine is closed using bungee cords because I'm trying to keep in cats not just chickens. In that theme, because my cats are escape artists, I wound wire around all of the existing poles to secure the chicken wire better than zip ties. I know firsthand the zip ties get dry and crack and I didn't need any escaping felines! It was a colossal pain in the neck, but I feel very confident that my cats won't be able to push through any of the areas on the chicken wire. I also "sewed" shut any overlapping seams with wire to make sure they wouldn't pull apart with a curious nose or claw. I liked that the chicken wire is plastic coated so it wasn't so abrasive when I was working with it . Kind of wish that the tent poles it came to secure it to the ground were a little bit more robust but I will just have to purchase my own to make sure it doesn't make into a kite in the spring and fall. So far so good!

Super facile à assembler, ce produit a vraiment bien tenu le coup. Il a résisté à notre hiver québécois sans aucun problème. Bien sûr, un bon déneigement et quelques blocs de béton à la base pour le stabiliser ont fait toute la différence. Je suis vraiment impressionné par sa solidité. Je le recommande sans hésiter pour ceux qui cherchent quelque chose de fiable et durable.Seul bémol la clenche pour la porte j'ai du la modifier
