Blue & Green LEDs Swapped
I purchased two SP613E controllers along with two BTF Lighting COB RGB 24V LED strips and everything worked great except the green & blue LEDs were swapped (pressing blue would illuminate the green, etc). Thankfully the BanlanX app has a color calibration feature which easily corrected the issue.

Perfect for projects
I used these for lighting a prop I helped my daughter make for her cosplay. Paired with an arduino nano we were able to make some awesome lighting effects.

Fried power supply, uneven and misprogrammed color
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: Seller contacted me almost immediately, offering to remedy the situation, without me having to initiate. Customer service is awesome and easy! I wasn't sure I would buy from this brand again, but their customer service sways my loyalty. It can be hard to get good/any customer service anymore, so Im very impressed and very thankful.Overall, product appears of standard quality, customer service is above standard, so I will likely be repurchasing.Original review:Worked okay, i liked the pixel density and brightness, but it made noise and flickered on certain brightness settings (except for full bright white). I liked this package, so i bought more led strips to extend the lighting. I added half of them. I had them plugged in for less than two days and they overheated the power supply box so bad that it melted and became nonfunctional. Kind of thankful I was home to unplug it, the light went out but it was definitely still hot and I could smell the melting plastic for several minutes after unplugging it. It didn't trip my surge protector, so thats also terrifying. Also, each long strip was made of a few smaller soldiered strips, so they were varying degrees of warmth and coolness, which was kind of frustrating. Lastly, the remote colors are not the colors that show up on the lights. I would do a demo, but the battery tried to catch itself and my house on fire, so thats for someone else to do.

Bright RGB strip
Having dug into ESPHome and Home Assistant and making ESP8266 based controls, I wanted to make some RGB lights. This strip has what looks to be 0603-sized surface mount LEDs under the silicone diffuser/sealing strip that runs down the middle of the length. They're closely spaced and are very bright at the full rated 12V.I measured the current for the whole strip: G = 0.86A, R = 1.81A, B = 1.25A. The power for the whole strip is nearly 50W. Strips I've used in the past weren't this power hungry, but then they were more spread out versus the COB nature of this strip. The back has adhesive but I've not used it as yet. There are cut lines where you can cut shorter pieces to use

After one month, two segments are dead. Avoid RGB - get RGBW instead.
Inside the strip you have segments of a few inches, which have about 10 leds of each color. I’ve had one blue segment and one red segment die already. Looks terrible when the strip is white. The 24v rgb cob is by far the brightest strip I’ve ever installed. I have a brightness limiter set to 80%, per the recommendations. It will be very difficult to replace these, so I’m disappointed they are already starting to fail.I installed the RGB into my drywall. The support says I should have used RGBW. The problem is RGB to white WILL quickly overheat and kill you segments. Controllers don't really have a way to say limit total power output, or avoid showing white, or even colors with low saturation, therefore, I suggest getting the RGBW version, though even RGBW is only safe if your controller will switch to W. Some controllers will mix white with RGB, which for these strips is worse. While the results are very bright, the strip should be designed so it doesn't overheat. Lower density strips don't have this heat problem, though aren't are bright and have spots. The support tried to be very helpful, but seems to fail to understand that after installing the LEDs, I then had the drywall, painting and wallpaper done, so I can't really just replace them and try again. Not to mention it took me about eight hours to wire and install them in their channel. I would certainly choose any other strip for a permanent installation.

Ultra bright
I bought this for a light up display and under estimated how bright the were 8ft of these are so bright you can see them clearly for a good 100 yards.

Works as stated
The product works as stated, is very bright and very smooth. The only thing that I would advise with the COB LEDs, is just to go ahead and get RGBIC. If you have to cut and solder on this, it is a huge pain because you have several wires and very small connectors. Once you go RGB IC you only have to deal with three wires and it makes it easier. They do make connectors, but by the time you crimp those on it, kind of breaks the smooth flow of the seamless COB, and they aren't as good as a solder.

Inaccurate item description. No adhesive on these light strips
I bought these and discovered that they put the adhesive on the tear off strip, rather than the light strips. So if you want to throw away the lights and stick the blue protective strip that is supposed to protect the light adhesive until it's ready to be applied, these are for you. If you're like me and want adhesive on the strips, don't get these. I thought it was a one-off and bought the same again and both times there was no adhesive. Such a lack of quality control indicates a very poor product and a likely very short lifespan. It's not a one-off either. I bought the exact same product again and had to return it again for the exact same reason.
