Capture Me: The Complete Trilogy

A Pretty gripping series
I didn’t think we could ever love a couple as much as Julian and Nora but Lucas and Yulia made you fall in love in a slightly different manner so you were able to equally spread the love lol! This story twisted and turned, was chock full of suspense and intrigue (not my norm at all actually now that I think about it!) this was a bit of a spy series and accessed a different side of my brain apparently as I was drawn in and anxious even at times.**************A bit of a spoiler ahead but it’s general********************************The only real downfall for me was just how badly Lucas treated Yulia and how easily she either forgave him or excused his behavior. THAT left a bad taste in my mouth but in the end it worked out for an HEA but what a HARD earned one for Yulia!!The narrators felt better this book. Shirl Rae either didn’t sound as old or I’m just used to her now after the twist me trilogy. Roberto Scarlato was a bit in the dramatic side but still managed to portray a myriad of character voices so over all they ROCKED it again just like in Twist Me series and now I can’t wait for Peters series! (I’d actually started his prior to Lucas’ not realizing I really DID need to know what happened there. (I wasn’t originally looking forward to Lucas/Yulia so skipped it but so glad I got drawn back in)!

Loved this series
Capture Me: I loved this book couldn't put it down. After finishing a meeting in Moscow Julian and Lucas Kent gave a ride to the interpreter Yulia . Lucas asked Julian that if he wasn't interested in her that he wouldn't mine visiting her. At home Yulia couldn't help thinking that she would be punished for failing at her job, but then she hears a knock at her door and when she asks who is it he says Lucas. When Yulia got the information needed she quickly send a text to her boss without Lucas finding out. After waking up in the hospital and finding out what had happened Lucas knew who was responsible and he couldn't wait to get his hands on her. Bind Me: I loved this book couldn't put it down. Now that Yulia is his prisoner all he wants to do is punish her for what she did to cause the plane to cràsh and for all the men die, but soon he realises that he wants more from her. While trying to get the information of the people who sent her, Lucas found out how and when she was recruited to work for them, but she never told him about her younger brother Misha. When Lucas figured that she was hiding something from him he assumed that she was hiding her lover which made him really jealouse. When Lucas left with Julian & Nora and Rosa to visit Nora's parents in Chicago for two weeks it gave Yulia the perfect opportunity to escape with the help from someone on the inside. Claim Me: I loved this book couldn't put it down. After Yulia escaped she was able to contact her boss and get his help to go back home. Lucas and Julian and Nora and her parents along with Rosa came back home early from Chicago because of a really bad incident. Lucas focus on finding Yulia and bringing her back and he asks Peter an ex employee of Julian for help. Yulia was being interrogated by his boss and two others to see what she told them, but Yulia got the feeling that they didn't trust her or believed her. When Yulia was given a new assignment instead of getting on the plane she followed her boss and he let her to her brother, but she also saw someone who she thought was dead. Lucas and the two guards found the location of the warehouse they were looking for, but Lucas was shocked to see that Yulia was there and was being attacked. Lucas brought Yulia and her brother Misha back to the compound, but Yulia still felt that she and her brother were not safe especially the way Julian still looked at her. Lucas came to a decision and gave Julian an ultimatum about his future as his employee. When Lucas & Yulia left to drop her brother Misha back home with his family they were shocked to see who was waiting for them along with Misha's adopted parents.

I didn’t feel good about enjoying this book
This is a tricky one for me. I’ve read a lot of dark romances where women are being held against their will. However, there’s one scene where Lucas does something that changes the trajectory of my experience with all of it. It’s the type of thing where I can no longer relate to the fantasy because from that point forward it’s hard to believe that this is a loving relationship and becomes more of a traumatic experience for Yulia in a way that makes her susceptible to mind control and compartmentalization. I’m all for tropes where the female lead falls in love with her captor/tormentor, but after this one scene it seems as if it’s more of a stockholm syndrome situation than love.Despite all of this, my f****d up mind still couldn’t put the book down and for that reason I give it 4 stars!!!! I mean, it did provoke thoughts and feelings which is what a good book does! I still would recommend it, just with a warning lol. This isn’t your grandma’s dark romance

Captivating
Enjoyable story about Lucas a mercenary and Julia a reluctant spy. Their story evolved over a short period of time but is suspenseful, action packed and convoluted. Seems repetitive at times but theme of story is never lost. Story was over long in third book but ending was satisfactory. Cannot believe Kirill was living and hiding inside an apartment inside an apartment but what do I know. Just was illogical to me.

Continuing the Remarkable Saga.
In a nutshell: Capture Me is a good continuation of the remarkable story that started with Twist Me, though it's ultimately too brief and underwhelming, Bind Me is an improvement as it fleshes out the characters but the sex scenes are overutilised and repetitive, and Claim Me is the very best of them because there's lots going on, the story is excellent, and it ends wonderfully. It's not quite as good as the Twist Me trilogy but the books are very well written and overall, it proves to be a dark, exciting and unforgettable odyssey that's unlike anything you've read before. I'm so glad that it found me!

Wonderful
In my opinion Anna Zaires has got to be one of the best authors around, I’ve read several of her books and found them all thoroughly enjoyable. Her characters are wonderfully written, so believable, you can’t help but sympathise with them (even though they’re not always the ‘nicest’ people). Her stories stir the emotions, I’ve cried and laughed and sometimes I’ve been shocked, but once you’ve started you’ll find you can’t put the book down. Wonderful.

Great book from start to finish
I couldn't put this book down!! From the moment I started it, I was hooked. I read this whilst on holiday and read it in a couple of days. It had everything you want from a good book, solid characters that were believable, as well as a solid story.I really enjoyed the book and I am looking forward to reading more books, from this author.

Another winner
Read Twist Me and went straight out and bought this book. Wonderful books, with great writing taking you on a roller coaster ride. Would recommend that you read Twist Me first as characters cross over in the books. The heros are dark but you end up routing for them, highly recommend these books and the Krinar chronicles are one of my all time favourites. A great author, please hurry with more stories!!
