Works
Works good. Used it on 2019 malibu it detected bad head gasket that was later confirmed by uv dye in coolant that ended up in spark plugs

Worked for me
Works! Was worried about a possible head gasket leak. This little gadget confirmed mine was ok. VERY easy to use. And to confirm that my test was good, when I was done, I took a big, deep breath and blew into the unit (don’t laugh!), and it indeed turned from blue to green. So I can confirm this is unit works. Yes I know there’s a difference between CO and CO2, but this kit isn’t detecting oxygen, but rather the carbon atom.Value for the money? I’d say so!

Decent product, didn't fit coolant tank very well.
I wanted to be sure my head gasket wasn't leaking. The rubber cone didn't fit into RAM TRX 2022 coolant tank very well. I saw no fluid color change with engine running. I tested fluid by exhaling three times and got significant green and yellow color change. I'm certain my head gasket is fine.

Great price, easy to use and quick results.
This test kit was great. Great price , easy to use and quick results. I was hoping that the liquid would stay blue but it turned yellow right away. I wasn't really surprised with the results but it was good to see it clearly right away. So now I focus on the job at hand with the clear results!

Simple, Easy, Accurate, Valuable.
The media could not be loaded. Very simple and easy to use. Put it on a cold engine, sealing the overflow tank and started the car up, let it run till the pressure in the cooling system started to build and push into the clear cylinder before turning the car off.Unfortunately this test confirmed the worst and an additional confirmation from a certified BMW tech after getting these initial results, validated the engine has a major issue..

A moment of silence please...
Well, I ran the test and it confirmed what I pretty much already knew. My head gasket is leaking. I'm still glad I did the test before taking the car in for repair. I just wanted to confirm it so I'm certain I really do have a leak before shelling out big bucks to a shop. The test was really clear and left no doubt- the color change was obvious and it happened in about 2 minutes of running.

Fluid arrived faulty.
Bottle leaked inside the bag and ruined the fluid. It still looked blue initially, but as soon as I took the cap off and poured it, it was already green ish. Before and after pictures if use show little change.

Get this to use before you even purchase a vehicle, to be safe.
I was mad at the results but also it was pretty darn cool! Whoever came up with this idea is a life saver to say the least, saved from me doing another compression test. Had injector codes on 3&5 for the last three years, just started getting a code on one in my 2010 Chrysler town & country 3.8 l v6, started getting an issue with my van throwing itself into limp mode with traction control and an awful smell of burning oil and antifreeze after while. I tried telling the person I bought it from that it was the head gasket, classic symptoms and he kept suggesting more parts so after 3400 plus dollars later and three years I regret not purchasing this sooner, my van is crashing out and I could have just replaced the head gasket possibly before it got this bad or got something else with that money…. BUT now I have this kit to use when I’m able to get enough saved up to purchase something safer!
