Amazing product
I’m a long time fan of many of Ora’s products and her tattoo salve is no exception. Extremely high quality, a little amount goes a long way. With near daily usage has kept my tattoos, especially my fine line tattoos, crisp and fresh. One jar will last a pretty long time for those concerned about price, it’s 10000000% worth it.

Great Salve - 9 month review
I bought the biggest jar back in May 2024 after being a loyal user of Tattoo Goo. I was hesitant on using it at first because I have sensitive skin. I finally broke down and tried it on a patch of very dry skin on my healing tattoo at the time that wouldn't soften even with the Tattoo Goo salve. In less than 12 hours, that little patch felt more like normal skin again rather than a reptile.Since then, I've used it on and off for my other tattoos that I've gotten. I generally use this during the day and my Tattoo Goo at night considering that this stuff doesn't stay oily and just sitting on the skin. It actually absorbs slowly over time which I do enjoy especially during the day when I need to use my hands for other things (I don't wash it off my hands when I'm done applying, I just rub it in).At night, I will use the Tattoo Goo salve to basically "marinate" and keep my fresh ink from drying out too much. This is just a personal thing. One other thing that I love is that with the Tattoo Goo salve, the tins are small compared to this jar (4oz) AND Tattoo Goo doesn't last as long. I go through tins like they're water. This jar, however, I still have plenty of despite using multiple times a day for several weeks. To give further perspective, I went on a tattoo binge. I've gotten two bicep tattoos and 13 little tattoos since I bought this jar.It will last you. I know the price is a bit much, but if you're going big or planning on many or even just to use on dry skin, the biggest jar is your best bet in my opinion. But that's just my personal opinion. Also! Another thing I just remembered. With the Tattoo Goo salve, I have to carry it on me to soften it with my body heat. This stuff is ready to use even when it's 50°F in the house.

Natural healing
I really do feel like this helped a large ratio heal fast and safely. Natural ingredients and a pleasant smell. Easy to apply. I have used to heal two tattoos and will continue on my next.

Good product
This stuff is great, my tattoo healed beautifully. It smells good and goes on smoothly. I have also used it on abrasions and it helped them heal too. Definitely recommend.

All Natural.
I'm really happy with this tattoo balm. It took away the itch of a new tattoo, and it really brightens up the tattoo when you want it to look the best and really pop. I have pretty sun damaged skin and this still helps make the tattoo look new again.

Really, really like this stuff. Just not right away!
I really like this stuff, but it wasn't what I expected. Before I go on; The smell is fantastic. You can tell the ingredients are genuine. The packaging is great. The quantity is great, and in my opinion a good value in quantity vs. cost. IT STOPS THE ITCHING! It brightens up your tattoo and makes it look brand new. Now on with the story.I've been using it for about 3 weeks. I ran a loose comparison between it and Aquaphor because my new tattoo took 2 sessions to complete. On the first session I used Aquaphor for the first 5 or 6 days then switched to Lubriderm. The healing was great, relatively painless and very minimal scabbing/peeling. This portion of the tattoo was heavy color and a lot of shading work, so definitely the brunt of the tattoo in other words. On day 16 of healing I went in for session 2.For session 2, I wanted to try this stuff to see if it would help the itching. I was too paranoid to use it right away, and stuck to Aquaphor for the first 24 hours. I had minimal weeping, and almost no bleeding, and almost no color loss. I then switched to this product, and I immediately experienced siginificant weeping, some trace amounts of bleeding and a LOT of color coming out in the fluid. Getting paranoid again I switched back to Aquaphor, all of it stopped. I thought maybe it was just the timing as I know weeping is part of the process. So I used the salve again. Weeping and color seeping came back immediately. Having had enough worrying about losing too much color, I stopped using the salve altogether for the next 5-6 days and stuck to Aquaphor. My scabbing was worse, even though the amount of tattooing was much less (this session was detailed color, linework and very little shading aka way fewer needles). I thought that was peculiar. The peeling was much more intense as well. Now the reason I'm giving this four stars is because it is an awesome product for AFTER 5-6 days. If it's a smaller tattoo you can probably use it even sooner. I would not recommend it on a very fresh tattoo. That being said, everyone's skin is different, and there are quite a few people on here that said they use it right away. Kudos to them, this is just another opinion in the bucket. I guess what I'm trying to say is for me it was a great substitute for the Lubriderm, but not for the Aquaphor.
