So I've historically only used Logitech mouses as they've lasted many years, were reliable and I love the unifying feature. However lately I've noticed they've become much more expensive and have this annoying tendency to have the scroll overly sensitive. I was in the market to shop for an inexpensive, basic wireless mouse and everything I saw of logitech were bulky and beyond a reasonable price. All I needed was a mouse for my work desktop that did the basic functions, didn't need back and forth buttons, or pulling up the start menu. Here is where I found the HP Z3700 mouse. I've been using it for a day now and I love it. Its light weight, basic, and does everything I need. Its also very slim and can fit in my pocket if I need to take my laptop around the office. Best part, if it breaks or gets misplaced, its only $12, compared to my other logitech mice of $40+. Win for simplicity. Can't speak about battery life or overall reliability. However I do like the fact that it uses AA batteries. One less thing to have to worry about charging.

This mouse is lightweight and quiet. I would actually give it 5 stars if it didn't have an issue connecting consistently. At time when i connect, it takes a few minutes while other times, it just sits there which is kinda lame when I'm in a meeting with a dead mouse and using my touchpad. Other times, if i wiggle the USB, it works - just not reliable. I've tried it on and off for several months now even replacing the battery but i honestly think it's the mouse. Once connected, it's exactly what I'm looking for in a perfect mouse. THe cool thing is the casing is magnetic so there's no effort trying to push and slide it off like other mices and again, super lightweight, just wished it didn't have that weird lag time connecting.

Excellent wireless mouse works all the time

This mouse is just what I needed for class. It fits perfectly in my messenger bag since it's slim, also fits well in my hands. The scroll is a little bit slow, but personally that isn't much of an issue to me. Otherwise if you're looking for a slim yet functional wireless mouse, I recommend this one for sure. I also love the many color options available, I went with silver to match my laptop.

I ordered this hp wireless mouse, after my other mouse died. I was worried that having an older computer (2016), that it wouldn't work. It took seconds to unpack and set it up and turn on my computer! Voila ..it worked beautifuly.... more compact than my old mouse, I highly recommend it! 😃
