UPDATE: After using this copper vessel for almost a month, I am upgrading to 5 stars. It really is a beautiful pitcher and the dent gives it character. I fill it with water before bed and pour it into a large glass Ball jar in the morning to keep it from accumulating too much copper. I also take a zinc supplement daily to ensure my body isn’t storing more than I need and to avoid copper toxicity. Considering buying one for my father as a birthday gift. Was really excited to give this to a friend as a gift. Upon opening the box, the first thing I noticed was a dent in the top rim of the pitcher. Doesn’t affect its use in any way, but being that it was a gift, and it costing nearly $60, I guess I expected a perfect, undamaged looking pitcher. The inside doesn’t appear to have a lining. The exterior is said to have a food grade lining to prevent tarnishing, which is fine. Besides the dent/knick in the rim of the opening, it is a very beautiful pitcher. Needless to say, I will be keeping this for myself, as it is not gift worthy.

The design is nice and the product good quality. I bought 2 more for my family also and they are very happy with it as well. Money well spent, for something that benefits my health.

Great product

This quality pitcher is absolutely beautiful. I purchased it for health reasons, but it certainly is enjoyable to look at. I fill it up with filtered water and keep it in the refrigerator. My family enjoys drinking water stored in the copper pitcher. I have not noticed tarnishing, but we keep it full at all times. My only wish is that it had a cover, but it's not really a big issue. I would definitely recommend this item.
