Q: Does this work with fixing the “grip it” plasterboard fixings?

I’ve never used the “grip it” fittings , but they hold my venetian blinds up when poor plaster loosened. They are basically a small plaster infused patch. You moisten them, wrap them round the rawplugs and mould them into the hole and let them dry for a while. When dry screw your blind back up , job done. Hope this helps. For the price of them they worth a try

Q: Basketball net was pulled off the wall. Would these be strong enough to support the basketball net if it was put back up in the same holes?

It’s possible to hold it up, but it will definitely not hold someone hanging on it, but if all it gets is the knock from the ball , for the cost of them I would give it a go. Don’t get them too wet and leave to dry for a few days before tightening up. Good luck.
