Shaping School Culture
This book was an interesting read. It was purchased for use in an education administration class. It helps open your eyes in viewing a school in a larger scope as compared to the narrow scope of the individual classroom. It is a very easy read, flowing well. Some topics are more prevalent than others, but it served its purpose for the course objectives.

It has some good tips about getting to know the community around a school and weeding out toxic culture.

Story driven information.
The stories in this book provided general information that most educators may use to understand the meaning of school culture. The book did not make me want to share a lot of ideas it had with other educators because it was to generally written with little data to support facts.

Excellent Reference!
Excellent information and material presented. Anyone who cares about the culture in today's schools should read this book. More specifically, this material would prove very useful in many different environments, not simply in our schools. Great read! Thank you.

Okay
I bought this text book because it was required for a particular college class. I have not found it to be of interest because it was not my choice to buy it.

very useful
I would recommend this book to everyone. Each point is supported by useful real life examples. A good read and there is a lot to learn about changing the toxic cultures in any organization.

Great text. Plan to use it in a course dealing with school culture
I was looking for a text that would explain the various elements associated with culture and one where the authors would make frequent use of story to connect the theory to practice. This text did that. Highly informative, neat and very appropriate stories.
