This will last me the rest of my life. I love this journal so much. This is my 3rd journal I’ve bought from Moonster, I am a die hard fan of the quality they give. The journal smells like leather, which lets you know it’s real, it doesn’t smell like highly processed leather with chemicals. The leather is thick, has a little stiffness to it, but you know that it will continue to soften over time with use. It’s not rock hard with chemical processing. The embossing is BEAUTIFUL. The pictures do not do it justice at all. The paper it comes with is quality, though I really like the milled paper insert due to its texture for writing, but the paper absorbs pen ink very well, is thick to prevent bleeding through and the pen slides over it very smoothly, but still feeling some tactile feedback that is satisfying for someone like me who loves the process of writing. The pen they provide is QUALITY. I actually didn’t pay attention that a pen came with it. I am very picky with my pens, I like a saturation of color that is bold & heavy without smearing all over. I like some tactile feedback, not super smooth ballpoints. This pen offers that very well. The tip is sharp without creating indents in the paper but still giving clear, clean lines. The pen is also heavy but well balanced and thick, as someone with carpel tunnel this helps my grip and not hurting my wrist too much. Over all, extremely pleased with the product. It did take almost a month to get the journal, but I’m going to tell myself that Is because the journals are handmade. ;)

It can be amazing gift because of the quality and beauty. I love how it feels, paper is good and I love to write in it. I think the size is just perfect. It is easy to carry it, in my purse. This was a GREAT purchase!! Leather is quality material! The pen holder is a great size for larger pens, but is able to hold smaller ones as well. The paper is smooth and a good thickness. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an affordable leather journal option!

Stunningly beautiful the pics do this journal no justice....in person its very rich in chocolate brown leather coloring. The smell of leather hits you when you open the box which is beautiful in itself. I am so happy for this purchase.

The leather is soft and the notebook is a good size for me. I love the embossed design on it. I switched out the one it comes with for a dot grid moonster notebook. The pen it comes with is nothing special. Which is okay since I have thousands of pens I prefer using. I like the closure with the pen loops. If you wanted you could add an elastic band if it gets too chunky to close via the loops. As far as value goes, I got it on sale or otherwise I wouldn't have sprung for it. It came in a box and would make a nice gift for someone. Because the leather is soft it's not very sturdy at the corners so it won't protect your notebook from bent edges but it will keep the cover clean and dry. It's functional and pretty. The paper is average quality and not very thick, but I'm not a fan of the lines, hence the choice to switch with dot grid. Only 4 stars because I would've preferred a blank or dot grid notebook but it wasn't an available option when I purchased it.

Je voulais un carnet plutôt orignal et qui me corresponde pour prendre des notes tout au long de mon parcours de formation chamanique. Je suis plus que satisfaite de cette achat. L'article arrive dans une belle boîte avec un petit porte clé en cadeau. La couverture en cuir avec cette arbre est magnifique et sens bon le cuir! Sa fermeture avec bouton pression est très pratique. Le carnet de note est certes composé d'un papier bas très haut de gamme mais très suffisant pour prendre des notes ou faire des petits croquis ou dessins. Et le stylo qui arrive avec est vraiment de très bonne facture (l'encre -noire- bave un peu mais franchement je ne m'attendais pas à un stylo d'aussi bonne qualité et suis très agréablement surprise). Idée cadeau ou pour soi-même, je suis certaine qu'avec ce genre de produit on ne peut que faire plaisir. Je recommande vivement. C'est couverture en cuir rechargeable va certainement m'accompagner très longtemps...

Es un cuaderno hermosos, bien armado y pasta muy bonita.

This journal is absolutely amazing. It was packaged so nicely. I opened it up and the smell of the leather and feel just beautiful. I couldn't be happier with this product.
