I need a 1.25" rope and i want to use it with aerial activites, so it must have a working load limit like 225kg (496 lbs). is it possible?

that is well beong my ability to answer for you, But, I am sure you can give Sgt Knots a call. My dealings with them have been very good.

Would the 1/4" be the optium size for 30' runs of clothes lines ? And I would assume this is the correct rope grade/material for such use .. correct ?

In my experience, 1/4" is too small for a clothesline. And cotton will stretch from the weight of wet clothes. You may have better results with a line that has a nylon core and is 3/8 or 5/16.

Could this be used as fabric piping? Need to reupholster a seat cushion.

This is excellent for fabric piping. I’m an expert at all types of sewing-fabric construction and alterations. I will compare it to a high end material for piping.

I have five large outdoor roll up shades. The 20 yr old 1/8” cotton cords began to deteriorate 3 years ago. Is the 1/8” this durable?

I think so. It is well done with good material
