Don't know of a better and more versatile product out there.
Will never use silicone again! Sashco makes quality products and I wish I had known about them sooner. I've been using LEXEL for several years and it has no competition. If you warranty your work, Lexel has your back!

Leaves silicone sealants in the dust
This stuff is great. It's a synthetic rubber and works way better than silicone sealants. Takes paint well too. So many uses when you're building.

Lexel was recommended by a carpenter
How have I never heard of Lexel? A carpenter who worked in our house told me about this product and how great it was.It was far superior to painter's caulk. I used it to seal exterior windows, trim, and door frames for a room addition. It dries clear but stays flexible. The best part is that it will take paint, something silicone caulks cannot do.

Seals and Glues things together - holds molding on, even on the outside of a homebuilt camper
I belong to a re-enactment group, and have built 7 different Tudor Cottages on trailers, for those of us too old to put the canvas up and down. This means putting molding on the outside. This stuff seals every crack, and holds everything in place!I am not a professional, I am a Home Ec teacher, so I work things out as I go. I can't say enough good things about this as a caulk. It doesn't shake loose, and it helps hold things together.Currently, I am experimenting with what I have learned from an FB group called Foamies, that builds campers using just sheets of insulation. This year, I have a frame, but the walls and things are just those insulation sheets. Therefore, there is often nothing to nail into - I might have a spot or 2, but this isn't like a regular build. You hold the whole thing together by wrapping it in fabric, glued on with TBII. Then you paint it to seal it all.I used the Lexel on the edges of the fabric, to really seal it, as well as on the molding.I just took this latest one on an 800 mile trip, to a freind who made a door for me, and now am working on the fabric on the back.NOTHING came loose, even tho it isn't finished. It is late, and I am tired, but I was about to order another case of this when I saw that I never wrote a review about how pleased I am.

Very good stuff
This caulking is very good stuff stands up to the weather very nicely sticks very nicely to most surfaces the only problem I found with it is a little difficult to use and since it’s clear you have to make sure you get a full bed without gaps so it Hass to be inspected carefully when you use it and it’s also very difficult to pump because it is a very thick caulking. Almost like trying to pump cement out of your caulking gun however it’s worth it because of how well it works.

Fantastic adhesive
We bought this for using on our new addition to secure flooring down. The smell is a little much but once covered it’s fine. It dries quick but not too quickly. The durability is fantastic and I would definitely recommend this product. The glue is kind of like a multi use product. We used it for floors, windows, a vapor barrier at window sills and to cover nails on the green board.
