I use this for work (postal worker) and it works wonders! It is easy to set up and connect, as well as take calls via the bluetooth. It is a bit on the larger size (think a Nerf football) but that allows it to be able to blast music with a ton of power and sound. The battery lasts me about 16 hours of consecutive use. It is also built like a tank; it fell out of my work truck while turning and ate some pavement. Took some minor scratches and the top part popped off, but it still works well! Great buy for a higher end bluetooth speaker.

Strong speaker, portable and delivers a robust sound to fill a room. I used it to add a theater sound to movies while attached to a laptop and large TV. The charge lasted all night and even after falling asleep overnight. One feature that would be nice would be an auto-off to conserve battery after 4 or 6 hours.

Definitely like it for its unique design and the chosen color. Asthetics easy 10 out of 10. Now let's get to the honest opinions when sony first announced this this I was definitely overjoyed but definitely said do to the size there has to be a little more hardware such as a tweeter included. Unfortunately the was not the case as pur usual sony overlooked an easy detail. Don't get me wrong this thing sounds good and yes the EQ does help the sound treble and bass can be improved but Ultimately it's just to obvious this could have been better with a tweeter! There is just this sence of slight muffle or just not high enough in terms of volume I have to turn this to about 70% for it to keep up with the charge 5 volume at about 50%. I really like this and wanted it to be greater then it is but 200 does not justify this thing the 2 woofers can easily handle mids with no problem and are ok with highs but seriously sony why no tweeter u have plenty of space in this thing. The defuser works ok the sound doesn't feel super directional but doesn't seem as wide spread as they advertise. U want this to fill your room maximum with the EQ tweaked is the way to do it! Maybe sony was trying to avoid a large amount of distortionion because it is quite minimal at maximum wich is really good! And yes the microphone function is really solid so props to them for that! Enough rambling all in all its a nice sounding well built speaker but 200 ...nah... may return it and buy it back later if I find it for Luke 120-130 ish for that 200 there is definitely bigger to equal size speakers with better performance! Easy to connect various BT sources. Great sound with stronger bass output than expected. Cannot speak to run time per charge but if the sound quality, solid build quality, and appearance are any indication, it should live up to the battery life expectations. It is larger and heavier that most portable BT speakers, but the sound quality justifies the weight and size. I really believe I made a good choice.

I use this in my mail truck. If you work for the USPS, that is all you need to know. For those not in the know, the trucks are a bit.. horrific? They are loud as a gunshot, they do not have ac and so are always pushing 90-100 inside, they require the window to be open so rain is always getting in, they have terrible shock absorbers so everything is jack-hammered constantly, and they have a giant window so sun bleaching hits like a truck. All that being said, this 38oz waterbottle sized speaker overcomes it all. Its battery lasts for a century, it can be as loud as you like (and carries sound quite a distance), and it is so great that I have been gifting them to family and coworkers for a while. When mine breaks after the next building sized meteor hits it (cause that's what it will take), I will certainly buy another.

Sound is great for the size and definitely an upgrade from the SRS-XB30. I play these 10-12 hours and then just charge them, not sure what their max is. However, pairing 2 speakers does not work really well. (Actually, it completely sucks.) What was the reason for me to buy 2 of these. Can give issue when multiple previously connected Bluetooth are in range. ( eg your phones and your laptop)

Sony, what can I say. This speaker sounds so crisp and clear, has amazing bass for the speaker size. This speaker is a total power house. I use it for my iPod and Walkman, also hooks up the MacBook easy. You have to download the Sony App to adjust the bass, mids, and treble. After that you have an amazing sounding speaker. Kinda muddy out of the box, just have to adjust it in the app. A+++++
