The tiny little wheels that came on the bird cage were horrible and needed to go. If youd try going from a wood floor to carpet it was a mess. I put these on and it was instantly like adding 4 wheel drive. Even the brakes work better. These are all around a great set.

The wheels are awesome and fit like a glove.

Replaced the original tiny rollers on my car stool. The new rollers work well, very smooth and durable. Would purchase again (but I don't think I will have to for a while! :)

We were replacing old, rusty casters that barely turned anymore and ordered these heavy duty ones for metal commercial kitchen carts. They installed very easily and the wheels turn nicely. The brake locks are great! The only problem with this kit is the little wrench they give you to put them on. It bends on about the second turn and you just need to find your own wrench that will put them on.

For those that are looking for wheels compatible with Omar IKEA - these casters are ever-so-slightly too big for the leg base pieces and will only spin 6-8 revolutions before getting locked in place. The wheels will not sit flush with the bottom of the base as a result. If you're OK with that, then you should order these; otherwise, you'll want to find casters that have a better consistency for stem width. Our shelving unit isn't stacked with a lot of heavy items, so while it's ugly that about an inch of the stems are showing, it's unlikely they'll fail given the light load they're holding. Here's to hoping I save someone some time researching and returning these if they're looking for an inexpensive way to make the Omar shelving unit mobile!
