Amazon Basics Heavy Duty Dry Sweeping Cloths, Floor Cleaning, Multi-Surface, Disposable, Trap Dust, Dirt & Pet Hair, Fits Swiffer Sweeper Mop Heads, 44 Count

These really work to pick up dust. I used them to clean up post construction dust. Perfect size and thickness to fit on my mop. I like that they are scent free. I also use them to clean my baseboards.

I LOVE these and they work to pick up heavy duty dog hair on my vinyl plank floors! We have two very hairy dogs and I use these at least every other day to go around and pick up clumps of the dogs hair that are like tumbleweeds throughout our first level of the home. The hair sticks to the pad and it gets quite a bit before I have to switch out the pad. I go through about three pads while swiffering our dining room, kitchen, kitchen seating area, and living room. Amazon's brand is more affordable then the name brand and I think it works just as well! Using the wet wipes is nice, but isn't needed more than once a week for us so having the dry pads to go around and pick up the tumbleweeds of dog hair has been a nice change than using a broom and dustpan which can be tedious. The dry wipe makes cleaning the floors quicker and more effective in my opinion.

These work wonderfully and are a fraction of the price! No scent which I love! The size fits perfectly on my swiffer dry duster mop thingy. It doesn’t pick up larger debris, it collects it but then you have to sweep it up because there’s often stuff left over. Great for animal hair! Easy to use.

4 stars – These Amazon Basics Heavy Duty Dry Sweeping Cloths perform just as well as the big-name pet brand versions. They pick up dust, hair, and debris effortlessly, and fit standard sweepers perfectly. What really sets them apart is the price—affordable enough to use daily without feeling wasteful. Great for homes with pets or high foot traffic. They’re durable, effective, and budget-friendly. I’ll definitely keep these stocked for regular cleaning.

Swiffer cloths have a reputation for being able to attract the dust, and it's possible that they're mildly electrostatically charged to achieve that effect. However, these are designed with a much better ability to hold the dust in higher quantities, such that, if you're dusting every few days, then the Swiffer is better because you only have a small amount of dust on the surfaces you are cleaning and you'll want that slightly better ability to hold the dust to the surface of the cloth, while, if you're dusting or cleaning in an area with more dust, then you'll definitely want the Amazon Basics heavy duty because they do an amazing job of continuing to pick up dust for a longer time and larger quantity of dust before they start losing their ability to clean. Basically, these are better for big jobs or for dusting all over the house, while the Swiffer brand is better for light dusting. We stopped buying the Swiffer after trying these and using them on a big job after sanding had been done. These are amazing.

I have the Swiffer pole floor mop and these fit perfectly onto the head with a little bit of extra room on the ends. Each floor cloth is COVERED in fluffy, pieces which function excactly like the little sweeper brooms on robot floor vacs. They pull everything into the pad and the fluffy pad body holds onto dust bunnies, hair, grass, and ALL kinds of debris. Worked fantastic on wall vents, with those fuzzy, fluffy pieces reaching into each and EVERY slat, pulling out dust & debris. I was stunned at how well it cleaned the slats, I was not trying to clean the vents, just the floor at tbe base of the vent 😁. Love these!!!

These are great!! Pick up a great deal of hair and dirt.

I decided to try these instead of the official Swiffer heavy-duty dry cloths because of the lower price. They do an okay job — they definitely pick up dirt and dust — but I’ve noticed I go through more pads to get the same level of clean as I do with the Swiffer brand. If you’re looking to save a few bucks and don’t mind using extra pads, these are a decent substitute. But if performance is your top priority, the name brand might be worth the extra cost.
