I purchased this for my TCL Android TV to replace another universal remote. The old remote was slow and had too many buttons (like the older TV remotes if you remember). I was starting to think the TV was slow and needed to be replaced. I did resets on the TV, even to factory settings, and it persisted.Once I bought this remote it all went away, and if I remember correctly it automatically paired and I did not have to do anything special.I've had the remote for 5 months now and no issues. It feels like an OEM replacement (without voice - which I don't use).

This remote can be a little unresponsive sometimes, I'd say 3 out of every 5 clicks of a button will actually function. Otherwise it works just fine and does everything the original remote did.

As the title suggests, one of our terrorist miniature dachshunds, somehow managed to get onto our bar height kitchen table and ate the rubber insert out of our remote. I searched the model number, found this remote, and had it same day (thanks Prime!)Put the batteries in and it worked immediately. It appears almost identical to the old one and cost less than driving to the store to try and find some universal that would never do all the same things that the OE remote did (you know what I mean, right?)Anyway, the little sucker got back on the table again but we caught him in the act. So I was able to Frankenstein good parts from the original, the innards of the replacement and make another one from the first two.I'm going to buy another one to keep in the cabinet, just in case and I'm going to rub habanero peppers all over the one on the table just in case Jon Jon gets to it again.If you need a replacement remote, this is a perfect replacement. If you need a dog, DO NOT get a dachshund.
