Amazing! Nearly exact replica! It was like going back in time!!!! Looks just like the original. Perfect gift for any collector or to introduce a younger child to vintage inspired dolls! It's really cool that with these reproduction dolls, a child has the opportunity to play with a doll from the past in New condition!!!! The price point makes it appropriate for use/play as well as collecting.

Perfection!! A must for the collector!
This doll is absolute perfection! The most beautiful face sculpt—she’s just gorgeous. She’s presented so well in her box and it displays so nicely. I received one day shipping, and although there was no protective packing (bc Amazon doesn’t do that), she was at least shipped in a box and arrived in perfect condition.

Bill Greening did an absolute fabulous job on this 1977 Repro Superstar Barbie, she's beautiful, her face & hair are gorgeous, and the gown & boa are fab! I brought 4. I have the original superstar 1977 barbie, & the 2009 repro so it's nice to compare they all have tiny slight differences.

Got this Barbie doll for my sister because she had it back in the late 70s or early 80s. She loved it! Exactly like the original. If you are on the fence, don’t be. It’s perfect.

A true tribute to the original~!
Words cannot describe how exciting it feels to finally own a 1977 Superstar Barbie that's fresh out of the factory~! If you were to compare her to an original 1977 doll then yes, you'd feel there are quite some differences, like perhaps her skin-tone being slightly lighter, the face-up feeling a little more modern, the hair a slightly different texture, her body having the sculpted on underwear when the original didn't... But everything just fades away when you notice how beautiful she is, truly a worthy tribute to the original~!
