URSA Soft Circles: Reusable Soft Covers That Provide a Shield Against the Wind and Camouflage for Lavalier Mics (15x Soft Circles + 30x Stickies, Black)

These things are legit. Super easy to use and the quality is way better than I expected. They stick great without leaving residue, and they stay put even during long shoots or movement. The soft cover really cuts down clothing rustle and makes audio sound cleaner. You can reuse them a bunch of times too, which saves money in the long run. If you do any kind of film or interviews, these are a must have. Works for many things too!

I do film work and I don’t know why I haven’t tried this but this product is faster and easier and makes my video work production smoother and make audio sound awesome no matter how much they move.

Comfortable and stayed in place.

These are a great way to secure lav mics or tiny cables on fabric or skin. I think an explanation of how to use them is in order. The product contains two different objects: single-use clear double-sided sticky discs, and reusable cloth discs in several colors. In order, the layers are: Skin or clothing Sticky circle Lav mic or cable Cloth disc (In video demos, this is done so quickly that it wasn’t clear to me what the layers were.) I have not used these to adhere anything directly to skin. I want to try it though. I used them to secure a lav mic to the brim of a hat. It worked really well, and I’m going to keep the remainder as insurance, for when I have the woman who wants a lav mic on a corporate gig, and wears a low-cut dress. To recap: the clear sticky discs are single use, and the cloth discs are reusable. I think it’s a great product.

I bought these to conceal my lavalier mics. I adhere the sticky to the sterum and it holds well. The soft circle do offer minimal wind protection and have been great for minimizing wind and any deep exhales from peaking the audio. I do however have trouble keeping the sticky on sweaty skin, for example from strenuous exercise or in hot weather. The sweat eventually causes loss of adhesion and the mic will come undone. Other than that, I love these.

These don’t stick as well as the old Rycote one did. And sometimes the sticky won’t come off the plastic either and they get ruined. They work alright, but they aren’t great. The almost always give out before the end of a wedding day- which is fine, we don’t NEED a bride mic’ed the old day. But still a bit of a pain. I’m sure its a fine line to walk- not be so sticky they ruin a dress or leave residue. So thats good that they don’t do thah. But again, they give out and ruin themselves sometimes too. Good enough, not great.

Very sticky, lasts easily through the entire wedding day and allows you to hide the microphone and capture professional audio. Highly recommend

These little circles are incredibly useful. I use them for mounting a lavalier mic directly onto skin or clothing, and they provide a soft, quiet buffer that eliminates any rustle from friction. The adhesive is strong enough to hold the mic securely for a full day's shoot but peels off without leaving a sticky residue or causing irritation. They are soft and pliable, conforming well to different surfaces. Having a pack of one hundred means I'm not worried about running out any time soon. The black colour makes them easy to hide on darker fabrics. They are a simple but effective solution to a common sound recording problem, and they have definitely improved the quality of my audio by keeping things quiet.
