Quite pleased with this product. Bits are high quality. I used the 3/8 inch tap for a 1/2 inch block of aluminum and it worked fine. Just be patient and back out occasionally and use lots of oil. Threaded the hole nicely and the bit still looks like new! The wrench is junk. Could not handle the torque required for this job, so I used a large adjustable wrench instead. Still 5 stars at this price.

First of all, you clearly bought this thing for the price point and so you wouldn't lose any sleep over dropping one of the taps down a grate. Fair enough. They work.Then there is the full-bore piece-of-crap handle. Hope you already have one laying around somewhere. Even lubed, you can't tighten down on the collet without vice grips and having to listen to the gritty noises. Nor can you loosen it up. And no matter what you do, you cannot adjust it to actually hold a tap! Tighten down all the way and the jaws stick out so far they're springy and not at all inclined to grip no silly square bit end. DON'T tighten it down all the way and the jaws don't even get close.Now go read those "reviews" that say how wonderful this trash is. Then read the huge number of reviews that warned me that this might not be any good, and I ignored them.Two stars for the delightful throwaway taps that actually work. Minus eight stars for the handle. Put Performance Tools on your "don't touch" list.

1 pc. of the Tool W8651 6Pc SAE Tap Wrench Kit does not fit its holder, I want to return it but I don't want to drive 5 miles away to do it.

I tried to correct a flaw in a threaded cabinet socket. The short handle was not long enough to help me correct the problem.
