Great investment for DIY on newer Honda's
I needed a some stands for my wives 2020 Civic and since cars today don't have actual frames or axles I ended up with these. Honda has built in floor jack lift points (subframe in the front and a jack point in the rear). These work great once you get the car in the air just slide these under the big beefy pinch welds and your good to go. Makes and maintenance a breeze. Since then she upgraded to a CRV. Haven't got to try them on that but I'm going to assume they'll work just as great

Esco flat top "shorty" jackstand
I previously used the normal size Esco flat top jackstands. These are the so called "shorty" stands and really work better for a car that is lower to the ground. The only rub is they charge more for these than the standard height so I may buy the larger ones if I need a 3rd and 4th stand.

Much more safe with these Esco jack stands
I bought a pair of these and they work great. They are much better than the traditional jack stands. I can see they support my car very well.Thank you.

Safe solution for unibody cars!
Lifelong user of ratchet style jackstands here. You know the ones - thin stamped steel frame, contrasting color bars, and the knuckle-banger release. The ones made for frame rails and axles that dig into the pavement. Yep. Those ones. Those stands have no place near jacking pads, pinch welds, and unibody rails. They can be wobbly as hell, and has anybody really trusted them when that's the only thing between your wife and a life insurance payout? These, on the other hand, are stable and solid. The large triangulated pads don't dig into pavement, and don't feel like they could tip or bend. The flat pads on top are compatible with unibody rails and jacking pads, and I have used them with pinch weld adapters with no problem at all. Everything is thick steel, braced, welded, and just feels better and more secure. The low profile jacks fit easily under my Challenger, a Chrysler 200S, a Miata, and a Porsche 914. The lower settings were plenty to remove wheels, and the higher settings could get me under for oil changes. These aren't tall enough for trucks or my wife's SUV, but are plenty for basic maintenance on passenger cars.A few other reviews mentioned the play in the main bar and the sleeve with the pin installed. Yep. Does that with nothing on it. And it has to in order to make adjustments easier. But with the weight of a car on them, there is zero play or movement whatsoever. If you're really that worried about it, go buy a pin or bolt the exact size as the hole.Couldn't be happier with these. After only having these a few months, I am already more comfortable under these than I was with the ratchet-style. Yes, they are pricier than other styles, but worth every penny. And let's be honest - is this really where you want to cheap out? Caskets are expensive. These really are not.

keeps you safe. worth it
these are well built. weld seams are a bit messy but are strong and painted. great to have a stable support for doing work. tripod base can sometimes be a bit less stable if you dont clear debris or use a wood base on soft ground. included rubber chucks are dense though needed to be hand washed as they smelled of petrolium. i am happier to have these than a cheapo jack stand from elsewhere, weight is rated perfectlystay safe out there

Ample foot pads keep this unit stable and protect your driveway.
I wanted a set of well built jack stands that could accommodate pinch weld adapters. These Esco units deliver. I tried pinch weld support using both the included rubber pads and the suggested pinch weld adapters made by Zozany. I'm very happy with the way they performed. Although neither damaged the pinch weld in any way I just prefer to use the rigid metal adapter at those locations and reserve the rubber pad, which is very tough and well made by the way, for support at the flat lift points further in on the undercarriage. I've included some pics to show the stands in use. The car in the picture is my 2020 Impreza that I lifted at the rear differential for a brake inspection. The jack you can see in the background is not under load. The stands are bearing the full weight. They are also at their lowest setting and these are the short stands. The last pic includes something I wish the manufacturer would have supplied. The dimensions of the jack stand pad so you can order the appropriate size pinch weld adapter. All in all I'm happy with the purchase and will be ordering another pair.

Best Jack Stands Ever
These shorty Jack Stands are just what you need for vehicles with a sub frame. They hold the vehicle high enough to work underneath, without fear of jacking too high. Buy 'em!!
