I'm sorry but i think creative is mistaken on what they did when they provided you an answer earlier. ;-) I read that the G5 uses a Cirrus Logic CS4398, and that the CS43131 is used in the G6.  Creative states that they use the CS4398 for the G5 this on the G5 product page at amazon.ca, and also at the product page at the Creative site if you look it up... ;-)

I’m still working on this. It’s pretty much trial and error with the eq. I did boost a lot on the mid range to hear footsteps more and put the surround on “narrow”. I think that’s key as you don’t want a wide sound stage. It will make enemies sound further that where the are. My best suggestion is to hook it up on PC but have the optical run from your PS4. From there I went into the software to manually tweet the eq in a solo match. I tried the scout mode and it was a little too much and it will lower some parts of the game that you need to hear. It depends on the headphones you are using as well and what frequencies it automatically boosts.

Will the g3 soundblaster card work with the arctis 7 using a 4 pole to 3 pole adapter?
