It is smaller than would have thought but then I could of read the description. It works well but it takes a while to figure how to turn it on. A long hold. But when on it does give a lot of light. It dims well whether low of low. It was worth the money.

The power on feature is very responsive and the timer off works correctly. I would prefer the ability to set the power on time for which a manual sliding switch would be better as I could attach this to a timer to turn on at a set time in the morning.

I bought this light for one simple reason: in the dark winter months, I have difficulty doing anything after dark. Cleaning, cooking for myself, or the writing I want to do to advance my career. Introducing some light that mimics the spectrum of sunlight helps blow the cobwebs off my winter-numbed brain. And in that regard, it works perfectly. I turn this on while I’m working, and suddenly, my mind clears and I feel motivated to work.You’ve probably encountered a product like this before. It uses a panel of LED lights to mimic the sunlight spectrum. Because it has a panel rather than a single light, there’s no single glowing point; instead, the light spreads and fills the area, kind of like sunlight. It has adjustable intensity, letting you find the light level most conducive to your own productivity and mental clarity. Human brains work at their best in full-spectrum solar light, and devices like this come very, very close to mimicking that spectrum.At just a few inches on a side, this light is appropriately sized to fit on most desktops, bookshelves, and other convenient places. It has an adjustable rear stand that lets you place it at an angle that maximizes the right exposure of light. As stated, the light level is adjustable, which is an advantage over previous full-spectrum lights I’ve had before; you can set the light for whatever level optimizes your productivity, from a spring sunrise to full-on high noon.I have to dock one star, sadly, for the power source. It’s a four-foot USB cable with a type-C connection, which misled me into believing there was an onboard battery. Sorry, no. That cord is pretty short, and without an onboard power source, it’s a significant restriction on how far you can place the light from an outlet. Considering that this light works best when placed somewhat above eye level, four feet isn’t enough room to achieve best effect.Notwithstanding my complaint about the cable, the light itself does everything I’d expected. When I place this where I want to work, it gives me the mental motivation to cook, clean, or write in the long, dark winter nights. Sure, I have to use extension cords, which aren’t cheap, to achieve the maximum reach. But in terms of the light, it does everything I needed it to, and more. And I find my productivity restored.

I was very skeptical ordering this product. I had mentioned too my pcp that my SAD seemed worse this winter and she suggested a full spectrum light box. I didn't order one for awhile, not having confidence in the idea. When I started looking, seeing a huge range of prices didn't increase my confidence. I decided to order this one, in the lower price range. I actually noticed a difference in my mood the first day. I have my morning coffee in front of it for 15 minutes and then again in the afternoon. It's made a difference for me and I would recommend the product.

I really struggle with depression during the winter months, so I was looking for a lamp I could use each afternoon to help me get some exposure to sunlight. I like this product a lot. It is very bright, but your eyes get used to it. It was super simple to set up and it's easy to move around. Love it!

It works. I had to order a new cord as the one I received with it didn't work. Works well now. But I don't think it does what it's meant to do! But, I plan to keep using it, so we'll see!

This light has plenty of power. It has a built in stand and can be powered by a usb cord. This makes it easy to put on a desk and plug into your computer for power.As far as value for money goes, its hard to beat this light.

My house is very dark so I tried these lights and I really like them. I have bought 4 so far. Good price.
