Culligan RC-EZ-4 Premium Water Filtration Replacement Cartridge for Under-Sink, Refrigerator, & RV Systems - EZ Change Water Filter System (500 Gallon Life)

I've been using these for maybe 10 years and the water quality is perfect. Highly recommend. I do have city water though so it didn't start out that bad.

The Culligan IC Change with EZ-1 cartridge. The Culligan EZ-x family are very pricy, but they did work very well for us! Frankly, I’m baffled by some of the reviews that stated that it was ineffective because we have nasty well water, and it cured the problem big-time! After trying several of the cheaper brands that failed to do the job, we installed the Culligan IC Change with EZ-1 cartridge, (cheapest,) on the water supply of our refrigerator. This worked great and eliminated ALL the funky odors and taste that made our ice disgusting to drink. Installation is extremely easy, and exchanging the cartridge could not be any easier in that it is merely a quick twist and done installation. To me, this is worth every penny. In short “sometimes” you get what you pay for and in this case, it did an outstanding job for us!

I’ve been using this filter for the past couple of years, great tasting water, very easy installation. Family of 3, we replace them every 3 months and about 300 gallons of usage.

Rated five stars as it is a perfectly good filter, but it does NOT fit the Dupont three-stage filter system, for their QT9000 series cartridge. The extra tang on top has different indents for Culligan versus Dupont. The two WaterDrop cartidges which does not have the extra tang worked fine and I will buy one of those to replace the large cartridge.

Had a GE RO for 20 years but they stopped supporting it. Decided to go with the latest Culligan filters. These are excellent. Water quality 95% as good as the RO. Plenty good enough. We have a hot water container in the kitchen that used to get mineral build up. With the RO that problem went away. Been using the Culligan for 6 months and no mineral buildup so far. Packaging: Dinged Culligan 1 star for the packaging. The filter is heavy and the water ports are small and delicate. If the package is flipped over during transport the inlets and the plastic seals are damaged. A simple ring of packing material would cure this issue. Had to return 2 damaged ones to Amazon. 5 stars for Amazon's return process and quick delivery.

This has been a no-problem filter. Once you get the system installed, it's a piece of cake to do filter changes. Just remember to turn off the water first! The RC-EZ-3 filter will also fit this housing, and costs less, but it does not offer the performance of the EZ-4. I've been sticking with this model. Very happy with performance. Expect a lower water flow rate than your standard faucet. Important note: if you use a SEPARATE faucet assembly for your filtered water, you need to pay attention to where the water exits the tip. It WILL after a while grow fungus and bacteria where the water exits, because this filter removes the chlorine that would help prevent that. About once a month I take a small amount of bleach and mix with water ( one part bleach, three parts water) and fill a small cup or glass with this about halfway. After blotting the end of the faucet dry, I lift the cup up to cover the end of the spout, so the tip is submerged in the bleach mix (see pic). I hold the cup there about ten seconds or so, then remove it. Let it alone for about ten minutes, then just run some water for ten seconds or so to flush out the end.

Good tasting water & cuts how much calcium deposits are in my teapot by at least half. Check what it filters to make sure it does all you need. Not equivalent to Reverse osmosis & the price reflects that!

I use it to purify the water in my RV. Easy to install. No shut off needed when removing for the off season. No need to carry separate drinking water. Removes any chlorine and renders the taste neutral.

Provide good quality water and filter lasted over 6 months before replacing

We started with the EZ-3 and it wasn't quite enough filtration for us. The EZ-4 is perfect! We love it and are saving so much money on bottled water!

Initially, I installed the Culligan RC-EZ-1 EZ-Change Level-1 Replacement Cartridge, then this time around for a new cartridge replacement I decided to try the RC-EZ-4-Change Level-4 Replacement Cartridge. I think that the water from this new filter tastes a little bit better than that of the EZ-1 Cartridge. Great overnight delivery, easy to install, and great tasting water! Well done Culligan!
