I recently decided to give the Naturalis Vegan Omega 3 DHA, EPA & DPA a try for the first time, and I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised! As someone who's new to vegan supplements, I was a bit nervous about the quality and taste, but this product exceeded my expectations.Opening the bottle, I was relieved to find that the softgels were neatly encapsulated and not sticky or clumped together. I appreciated that the capsules are carrageenan-free and made in a cGMP certified facility, which gives me peace of mind knowing I'm putting something safe into my body.I felt good knowing that the omega-3s I’m getting come from sustainably sourced algae. It feels great to support heart, brain, and joint health without harming the environment or relying on fish oil. The fact that it's Vegan Society certified really helped me feel confident in my choice.I also noticed that they were easy to swallow and didn’t have an overpowering aftertaste, which was a big relief. It’s comforting to start a new supplement without the unpleasant fishy smell or taste that I’ve experienced with others.Overall, my first experience with Naturalis Vegan Omega 3 has been really positive. It’s encouraging to find a product that is not only effective and high-quality but also aligns with my values. I’m looking forward to continuing with this supplement and am excited to see the long-term benefits for my health!

The seal was old-school foil and I wondered why. I double-checked the label but it says Made in USA. Odd since all bottles seem to come with a fairly standard seal nowadays. As soon as the seal was broken I was inundated with a strong fish smell. The softgels did not roll out onto my hand. They were clumped together in the bottle (no silicone pack) and I had to poke them apart with my finger. I noticed immediately the surfaces were oily in spots. When I got a few out I could see they were glistening with an oily coating and most of the gels had marks where they had been attached to each other before being disengaged.Just holding the leaky softgels in my hand left a stench I could not wash off. Multiple soap washing, lemon juice, vinegar - nothing took it all away. The smell also transferred to whatever I handled afterward - including the hand-towel I used to dry my hands AFTER the washings.I cannot imagine ingesting this. Even if there was no aftertaste or bodily odor I just don't know how I could get past my sense of smell and taste to take one! I also use a 7-section pill container to set out my vitamins for the week and I would not consider placing these leaky, smelly softgels with other supplements.I could not request a refund because I had received this order more than 30 days before I ran out of my current supply. I opened them today and was already was beyond the return window.Disgusted. I cannot believe a US company would package something this way and expect anyone to accept it.

I purchased again because the 1st bottle was great. The second order the bottle stinks badly! It even stinks up your fingers just picking the capsule up. Probably wont order again because there is no refund and I cant afford to keep wasting $40!! Very disappointed. Changed to 1 star due to no response from seller still almost a month later from leaving this review! It is bad business in my opinion not to stand behind your product when there was an obvious issue with one or more batches of these given that there were quite a few people that left reviews with the same problem as mine. Stand behind your product Naturalis and refund or replace! ******* Naturalis backed their product and sent new bottles that are great again! :) Will purchase from again! Thank you Naturalis for being an upstanding company!!

10/25 update: I was contacted by the seller regarding my review. They said “Sometimes the warehouse storage conditions are out of our control and might make the softgel really sticky due to heat”. Seller offered to make it right and give me a refund/replacement. Hopefully this batch is good since this product seems to have good ingredients without a bunch of additives. Fingers crossed. I’ll update.-I usually don’t write bad reviews but this pills are so rancid. First time I bought them they were great. Second time, rancid (bad fish smell, sticking together, bad after taste, burps). I decided to trash them. Third time I order, same situation. Amazon won’t return your money because is a supplement. I don’t know if the manufacturer had a bad batch or the distributors don’t keep them in a cool temperature room or whatever. But last 2 bottles were a waste of money. What a shame. Ingredients looked good in bottle. Not buying again.

Necessary For all vegans. Now more than ever, the internet is full of nutritional info for people with critical thinking skills. Unfortunately, a majority of vegans tend to be as stupid as everyone else when it comes to getting essential fatty acids and essential amino acids. This algae oil provides the same full spectrum omega 3 found in fatty fish. Full spectrum omega 3 is necessary for metabolizing your food. As a vegan, you ABSOLUTELY NEED to make sure you are getting algae oil which is the same source of omega 3 found in fatty fish such as anchovies, sardines/hearing, tuna and salmon(you're just cutting out the middle man, the fish). Also, I don't care how much flax and avacodos you eat, neither are a full spectrum omega 3 and neither are as readily digestible as Algae oil. If You eat an omnivorous diet or are on keto, if you don't eat one of the fish mentioned at least a few times a weak, you will need a fish/krill oil supplement or an algae oil supplement like this one. Also a great alternative for people with gout who are supposed to avoid the fish mentioned. Great price and great product. I will keep buying this supplement for as long as they keep making it.
