I bought this when the newer Charge 4 was released, so it was something like half of the RRP. The sound is slightly disappointing straight out of the box, but after a few hours of playing the bass has loosened up and it sound much better. Many of these portable speakers are only mono. Although this one is stereo, the imaging is not very good because the speakers are too close together to do any better. I had considered two separate Flip 2's to get the stereo imaging, but that would sacrifice the thumping base that this unit can produce. I should mention that this unit is solid and seems close to bombproof!

I bought this because my friend had an older extreme 3 and it was a great product. This one arrived and it is smaller and not as powerful as the older models. Still great stuff...

Why is the Camouflage one so much more expensive than the black, am I missing something?

J'ai un certain nombre d'enceinte JBL chez moi, je les aimes tous, mais la JBL Xtreme 3 est de loin mon enceinte préféré. J'avais l'Xtreme 2 avant et je voulais un model plus récent. Une enceinte aussi puissante, portatif, avec un montant de basse très impressionnant même à l'extérieur. La qualité du son est très bonne, je l'utilise sur mon bureau comme enceinte de bureau pour ma musique, heureusement pour moi il y a un port 3.5mm sur l'enceinte très pratique, port qui ne sera pas sur la JBL Xtreme 4... Je voulais une enceinte pas trop grande qui ai une bonne puissance de son, je ne voulait pas acheter la boombox 3 qui est trop encombrante et qui est au même prix que ma JBL 110 qui a beaucoup plus de puissance. La sangle est très pratique, je l'utilise pendant mes balades en vélo ou quand je marche. Les matériaux du produits sont très premium, le logo à l'avant est très facile à rayer attention ! Je me sert du chargeur de l'enceinte pour charger d'autres appareils aussi, le chargeur est incroyable. Je recommande ce produit ! Si vous cherchez une bonne enceinte portative de bonne qualité avec une bonne autonomie c'est l'enceinte qu'il vous faut.

Me parece que tiene un sonido muy equilbrado entre las distintas frecuencias, los graves son profundos y marcados, no opacan a los medios ni agudos. A un volumen alto no distorsiona, tiene muy buen nivel de volumen, escucho diversos géneros de música y todos se escuchan muy bien, destacando más o menos las frecuencias dependiendo el género y calidad de la grabación, el sonido grave de los radiadores pasivos destaca más con el reggae y lofi hip hop. La duración de la batería es muy buena, no tengo una cifra exacta, aproximadamente más de ocho horas a un volumen medio (reproduciendo audio de películas y series) y aún queda batería para más. Muy satisfecho con la compra y el producto además de un excelente precio.
