Review: Great brake rotors. All are made in China now. Allegedly the better brands have better Quality control. The Raybestos i bought before these warped very quickly and I don't abuse my brakes. Review: Had these installed today on my 2012 Toyota Corolla S with some new Duralast Max brake pads, and let me tell you that these have a nice smooth stopping power. I highly recommend these! The rotors I received are identical to the ones in the picture.

It took me some time to figure all this out but here it is for others to be aware of. First of all because of the slots and dots they unnecessarily wear down your brakes much faster than with regular flat rotors, so you're gonna be changing your brakes much more frequently than what you would otherwise have to. They also create a lot of brake dust which gets in between the slots and holes as you can see in the pics which doesn't look very nice, and who wants more brake dust in general on their wheels. They also make various sounds one of which is a swishing sound when NOT braking as your brake pads are slightly gliding on the rotors, you can hear it when you're driving slow, I don't know if that sound would go away at some point as your brake pads wear out but it was there when I installed them new. Now if that wasn't enough you also hear a roaring sound when braking at regular speeds, when the brake pads get in contact with the slots and dots as you brake they make this roaring sound, which can get annoying. Lastly the zinc coating does not hold up well, I didn't include the pics of the second rotor, but the zinc coating gets pretty discolored from heat and contact with water as you can see a little bit on these photos. So overall I did not like these rotors and they were returned, I got some R1 geomet coated carbon steel regular flat rotors which were much cheaper and they run so much smoother and are nice to look at. Slotted and dotted rotors are very unnecessary and I would not recommend them to anyone, unless you're a race car driver and even then only slotted might be recommended and not dotted as the dotted ones compromise the structure of the steel and are not used anymore on race cars either.

They are very good rotors, and they lasted me 6 years the last time I bought them and I drove on them everyday. Close to 70,000 miles

Said it was compatible with my vehicle but for some reason was shipped rear drum brakes not front. Beautiful looking, but didn't fit my vehicle despite being advertised as such. Oh well...
