Same as ZYP but without the hefty price tag!
I use this in place of ZYP, which my local glass and ceramics store sells for about $42 a can. This is a much cheaper option, and works just as well to release my fused glass from stainless steel molds while in the kiln.

Excellent for glass molds
We purchased this to do glass slumping, it is not advertised for that purpose but has the same main ingredient as the mold release agents that are advertised for glass molds. It works excellent for glass slumping and fusing applications. We are very pleased with this product and it is less than half the price of the other mold release available on Amazon and elsewhere. Two thumbs up on this one!

It works, but coat a little heavier
Works for glass fusing in ceramic molds. Says one to two thin coats. I had to do 3 heavier coats for the glass not to stick. I haven't tried mr97 because of the price, but as long as you use enough then this product works well. I would reccomend.

a must have for glass slumpers
I have used it over molds that have been previously kiln washed and new molds. With three careful thin costs it works really well, but it is best to respray each time at least with one coat. What I really love is avoiding the mess in the bottom of the glass that kiln wash makes frequently and the tougher surface. No problem with full fuse temps for me.

Not only did I waste money on this product
This product did NOT work as a release agent for slumping fused glass on a stainless mold! Not only did I waste money on this product, I ruined precious Spectrum glass, lost the time it took to create the item and damaged the mold. When I contacted the seller, I was told that mine is a problem to take up with the manufacturer. I will not consider buying from this vendor again!

Great product but triple the amount to use (just to be safe)
I've used this several times for fusing glass projects so that glass doesn't stick to the mold. This product works much better on stainless and slick molds whereas kiln wash tends to just run off. I really coat the mold well though. If you don't, you may have an issue.

works well in my gun barrels to reduce lead and ...
works well in my gun barrels to reduce lead and copper fouling to almost nothing, which it what I got it for. also works ok to coat bullets and cartridge cases before using them which helps to keep the gun barrels coated with this product

I do not recommend this at all
I gave this product one star only because there was no way to give it zero stars. It did not work and possibly ruined my expensive mold. I am still trying to get the glass out of the mold without damaging it. Yes it is less expensive than the real stuff but you don't save money using a product that simply does not work and potentially destroys your mold.
