DECENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT
I ordered these to replace some bulbs in an older trailer we use for hunting season. I had 1 that would only come on half brilliance and reversed it with no change. Grabbed a different bulb and it worked fine. Tested the socket and had full voltage. Swapped bulbs again and same issue. First week of camp one bulb died on me completely - had a couple spares still so I replaced that one and problem fixed. 2 months of camp and the day before we came home had another one die on me. Replaced that with a spare. Got home from the trip and wrote seller an email. They sent me replacements for the defective bulb and the 2 that died. They are bright and efficient but I only use this trailer for hunting season for usually 6 weeks a year. Will update next year if I have any issues when I get the trailer ready for the next trip.

Excellent quality over 5 years and still going.
I live in an Avion 35 ft trailer full time. I got these in 2018 to convert some lights to LED to reduce power load on batteries. They've been in daily use ever since. My fixtures are 2 bulb,1 incandescent ,1 LED. I use both at same time with power and only LED on batteries. Have only had 2 die. In over 5 years. Purchased in 2018.

All bulbs work and fit
Mine didn’t come in a box like many showed, so when they were received in the bubble wrap only I wasn’t sure if it was the same. I was pleasantly surprised that they all work and are brighter than the old bulbs. My motorhome took all but 3 which will be great to hold as a backup. I can’t tell you longevity but will update if there are issues in the future. Right now I’m very happy with them.

Great so far
Just put these in our 2011 Catalina camper. Love how they look. Very bright and give off that clean white light. Very well packaged. Have used about 12 of the 20 so far and everyone works. With the old standard bulbs, if my exhaust fan in the bathroom was running and you turned on the light you could hear the fan motor pull down. After putting in these bulbs the light has no effect on the fan. When I would turn on the main lights in the kitchen/dining room the small fan in the breaker box would come on. With the new lights it doesn’t run anymore. Brighter and apparently much more energy efficient. Have only had them in for a couple weeks, but so far still working great. Would highly recommend.

Smells hot, is hot!
I installed two of these bulbs in an interior light fixture of my motor home. Before I had replaced the light cover I could smell the distinct odor of overheating electronics. I removed one of the bulbs and the metal base of the bulb was too hot to touch though the led surface was barely warm. I then installed the bulb in a light fixture in my shop, applied 12 volts and used my non contact thermometer to measure the heat the bulb produced. Within one minute the temp reached 190 degrees! I left it connected while writing this review and just checked it again with my thermometer, still 190 but no hotter, still the smell of hot electronics. Not sure I want them in my coach. Actually, no I don't want them in my coach due to the odor. I will say an 1156 incandescent bulb will be too hot to touch but I expected an LED bulb would not be so hot, and the odor is a no go for me. Will return these as they were advertised as an "in the coach application." I believe I know what is making the heat and odor. The LED components operate with an average 1.5 volts, so the base of the bulb likely has a resistor or two inside to reduce the 12 volt supply voltage. I have not opened one of the bulb bases to see for sure but it is an educated guess and the odor tells me the life span is compromised significantly. In summary, not acceptable overall.I have done a little more testing of these bulbs and would like to add some information that may be of value. The bulbs brightness and their heat rise is directly in proportion to the input voltage. I found that from 12 to12.4 volts DC the bulb remains acceptably warm with just a hint of electronic odor. As the voltage increases to 13 volts DC the heat and odor become more apparent, above 13 volts DC you don't want to touch the bulb and the odor wafts through the air. Bear in mind when your vehicle is running and the alternator is functioning properly, the system voltage will be at least 13.5 volts up to 14.5 volts. Normal automotive battery voltage when no charging is applied is around 12.5 volts DC.I am not condemning these bulbs or the seller of them, I am relaying my honest results of my use and testing.$ 20.00 dollars to my door for them is impressive, I will use them as I see fit.
