Just what I needed
I bought this to use on a wound and after cleaning the wound, spraying it with silver honey, applying aloe vera gel and then applying the dressing, with a compression stocking over it….there was a dressing full of foul smelling drainage after 2 days. I did the same thing again and 2 days later the dressing was full of drainage again, but not foul smelling! The seaweed in the dressing really pulls the drainage out!! I highly recommend!!

Honey of a Buy
Excellent product - my only fault is the packaging- you end up with the honey all over your hands as the package is a tear off top vs a pull back. But as they say, never be afraid of anything you can wash off your hands!

No adhesive on these. They're just a felt pad. 🤷♀️ Didn't do anything to help 2nd degree burns.
These bandages are not what I thought they'd be. I was thinking they were adhesive based bandages, with a Manuka Honey treatment on the pad, but I was very wrong. These are just the felt pad dressing. To secure them, you must use some other type of adhesive bandage.I bought them because my S.O. got some 2nd degree burns on his leg when he went to dump hot grease. :( Unfortanately, I didn't get these pads until after the worst burn had already blistered & drained, so the calcium alginate never did turn into a gel. In order for that to happen, there has to be moisture, and the worst of his wounds was already on its way to healing. The good news is - the felt pad didn't stick to his wound because it stayed dry the whole time & he had no trouble removing it after treatment. To adhere the 2"x2" felt pad, we used a 4"x4" Tegaderm bandage. The fact is - these didn't do anything to facilitate healing, but maybe that's because we went in too late? Idk, but given the price of these, I was really hoping to be blown away and I wasn't. My 3 star rating is neither good nor bad, but rather just neutral.• Expiration date on my package is April 2027 (purchased August 2022)• Made in China & Manufactured for Marvell Health, LLC

Very expensive.
Works great, the cost is what is excessive.. Cost about $200.00 a month.

Dry pad, not enough honey
We purchased several honey alginate products to use for wound care. This one had fairly good reviews so we tried it.Unfortunately, it has very little honey and is likely to function mostly as an alginate product. The pads are honey colored, but contain so little honey that the gloves do not have any honey residue after handling it. Would not buy again.

Good Value for the Price
I have long known about the benefits of Manuka Honey, I have even known a few vets that have started using it in their practices. I know that it has to be a specific grade of honey and kept in specific conditions (i.e. you can’t be using it for cooking or your tea as well) in order to be used for healing as well. I saw these bandages and thought it would be a great chance to try them out.First off, these are not meant for open, bleeding, or oozing wounds. You need to stop all of that first. You need to have things on the bit of the stable side first. I have had several surgeries in the last few years and will be having more on a very regular schedule. Anything that can speed up my recovery time from the incisions is of great value to me.At 2” x 2” these are a nice size for most things, with properly cleaned equipment, you could cut them into another shape easily. (which is what I did to make a longer strip). These really do work well for rehydrating damaged tissue. These would even be a great alternative to the silicone scar tissue items that you see out there, I have tried those in the past and have not found them to be very useful. Although these are messier than those are, they are far more healing than they are.I could easily see this working on ulcers, and burns (I didn’t have any to test them out on). I do have a family member who is diabetic, and I will be trying this with them if they develop any that won’t heal.
