Very nice chrome flag set. Was a bit too small for the outer cross pieces of my Harley trunk rack so I went to the hardware store snd got the thinnest gasket material I could from the plumbing section. MAKE SURE YOU USE THREAD LOCK. I forgot to and lost a pole. I used red on the main part and blue on the tip so I could change flags easier. Seller was fantastic and replaced the one I lost even though it was my own fault and I agreed to purchase the part.

I loved the product as soon as I installed it. Great product and looked super. Next time out, Flag was lost. Highly recommend but make sure you Loctite all threaded spots. Vibration is the worst enemy.

This is the second flag mount I had ordered. The first one blew off. I had wondered if I lost the flag pole because the flag waving back and forth, and motorcycle vibration had unscrewed it. I was determined that this would not happen again so I tried to braze the flag pole to the base. I tried to heat the base and the liquified the inside of of this chrome plated base. It looked like the manufacturer had cast a base out of pot metal and then chrome plated it. No wonder my flag poles came unscrewed inside a base made of soft metal. You won't find soft metal used on a motorcycle because of the wind and vibration produced by a motorcycle. This type of flag pole construction is should not designed for use on a motorcycle because the flag mount will not stand up to the wind stress and vibration it receives because the soft metal yields under that stress. I concluded that this was a waste of money and in spite of its appearance, if you cannot get the flag pole to stay if you use your motorcycle for highway driving. Unfortunately I wrecked the product trying to make it last, so I cannot return it.

Love the Flag and Pole. Came with everything that I needed to get it mounted on the back rest rack of my 07 Yamaha Stratoliner. Love the look. The quality seems to be very good and I am satisfied with this product especially for the price. I am not disappointed and would purchase another one if i needed to replace this one with the same one, Hope this helps someone thinking of purchasing one. You cannot beat this for the price.

I just installed yesterday and haven’t had a test ride yet. I don’t think I’ll have any issues though, I was VERY impressed with all the extra size bolts and pieces that came with this to make sure I shouldn’t have any issue with the fit. I bought 2 of these for my bike, and although the base mount was a bit too small for my luggage rack, I was still able to fasten them on securely. I loved the way they looked on the back of my bike. That changed today. Took our first real ride of the season, and about 10 miles into it my wife looked back to let me know that we lost one of the flags. Now, the base was still mounted securely on the luggage rack. The pole itself fell out of the mount, and it was gone along with the flag. Very disappointed. Just an FYI...if you do get these, make sure you loctite the pole into the base or you'll be left with an empty base like me.
