We bought this for two reasons. One to reduce noise on a fast spin washing machine. Two to stop the washing machine moving on a wood floor. It works in both respects. We went for the thicker mat (20mm) as others had found thinner versions were less effective. I think this was good decision as the 20mm mat is very substantial and simply works.Top tips: 1. If your washing machine is plumbed in under a worktop, make sure you have the required extra 20mm headroom above the machine once the mat is installed. If you have less than 20mm, obviously order a mat which is less than your gap.2. It is very difficult to lift the washing machine onto the mat and then expect to move it back into position. So we overcame this by cutting the square 60cm x 60cm mat exactly in half with a straight edge and a Stanley knife. You can then leave the washing machine in position and gently raise the right half of the machine and slide the right half of the mat into place under it. Then do exactly the same with the left so that the base mat fits against itself to reform the perfect square.I really recommend this Anti Vibration mat. The quality is very good and although it's relatively expensive, it does the job well.

No need to spend lots of money on a specially made tray. This mat does not move under weight of tumble drier and is very steady provided the washing machine is first levelled and spins without rocking.

The difference in noise & vibration is amazing. My washing machine is under the counter so there was a momentary snaffle when we realised we couldn't really push the machine back in once on top of the mat but then we just put a flattened cardboard box under the mat and then pushed the machine on the mat on the cardboard easily back in under the countertop. Felt a bit daft initially paying this for a rubber mat but the difference in noise and vibration on a tiled floor is uncanny.

Superb mat, reduces all vibration on my 3d printer to so much less than before it. I read so much drivel about how to counter vibration in 3d printers, everything from paving stones to expensive so called solutions.In reality, if this reduces vibration in a washing machine, then it will work on a 3d printer, and I was right. Forget about costly alternatives, spend the money and get a "solution" that works!!

After fitting my Bambu P1S printer with foam inside and putting ontop of bricks, it still transfered noise to other rooms. I bought 2 sheets and coudln't find a 2nd use so I stacked them both up and has greatly reduced noise to other rooms. Far better at night.
