’m really happy with these boots! They fit true to size and are comfortable right out of the box, no break-in period needed. The quality feels great for the price, making them a really good value. They’re also super versatile. I’ve worn them with both jeans and slacks, and they look cute with everything. Definitely a great everyday boot!

Fantastic shoes. The spat buttons are so cute!! Replaces ankle boots for bootcut jeans. Pair them with comfortable breathable ankle socks. If you wear a regularsize 8 ... a. 7.5 wide would be better possibly. Great for pairing with black leggins and cute winter dresses. Stable , well made shoes . They do not have that plastic junk feel. Not too high of a heel. Get both the black and the brown. Your feet will thank you. So comfortable. Order them on Amazon . I've had better luck than going directly to Clark's.

Love everything about this ankle boot! First of all, Clarks offers narrow widths which is a huge plus for me. I have a very similar pair in brown that I've had for several years (and have worn/wear a lot!) and they still look brand new. Matter of fact, I received a compliment on the old brown pair this past Thanksgiving. Friend said she had a very similar pair she just loved and that she's going to order a black Emslie pair. The price was incredible since I bought them on sale for $43. That's unheard of these days for such a high quality shoe. Add the fact that they're extremely comfortable -- can't ask for more!

These dress shoes are incredibly comfortable I had no break in period which is a huge plus. They were true to size for me , flexible and very durable.

[EDIT]: THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE IN THE WORLD!!! My review just changed to a 5 star from a 3 star. Once I got the right size (which still baffles me that I needed a W), I’ve been wearing these non-stop! I even took them on vacation to NYC (where you walk A LOT), and never once did they hurt my feet after a full 12+ hours of walking and being on my feet!! They took about a couple weeks to truly break in, but once they did...oh my gosh!! I can’t tell you how awesome these shoes are!!! They’re like butter...I’m so not kidding!! I have been used to a slip on shoe for YEARS, so the only annoying thing to me is that you have to physically put them on and take them off. But it’s WELL worth it because you never really want to take them off!! They have a side zipper, which adds to the cuteness, and a nice sized heel, which isn’t overly big or small!! I’m only 5’0, so it adds the perfect amount of height!! Below is my original review, but I’ve edited because it was necessary to tell you how much I love these shoes!!! So I’m a solid 8 M normally. I’ve never had to buy a wide shoe! I was SO excited about these shoes, also them being Clark’s, that I put away my old shoes the minute I received them. I wore them for one day and the tops were so tight, it was getting seriously annoying! By the end of the day, I had to unzip the side zipper just to make it home! I decided to return these and get an 8 W. So I’m currently waiting on those. I’m hoping that they’re comfortable enough to start out with that as the breaking in occurs, they’ll get even better. I couldn’t even imagine the 8 M breaking in enough to make them comfortable! If the 8 W’s don’t fit well like the M’s, then I’ll just try another shoe and just be bummed about it! I do fly a lot, and when I do, my feet tend to swell a bit. I couldn’t even imagine what these would feel like if my feet were a tad swollen! Especially when they were so tight across the top when my feet were normal to begin with! Anyway, I’ll update my review if the W’s fit well. Otherwise, just beware of them being a tad tight/small across the top!

Comfortable, flattering, and can be dress or casual wear.

Originally, I bought these for an event we were doing at a client site. Blah blah. Anyway, as someone who doesn't wear heels very often, I wanted a low heel. These are lovely. The heel is medium height and thick. The shoes are soft. The insole is soft. I usually wear larger, barefoot shoe style toebox shoes, and these are okay. They've got elastic and a zip, if you have meaty feet, and they didn't hurt, but probably would have after a good while. So, if you're in the market for some, idk, lovely, leather look, cute shoes, go on. (No, I'm not taking photos of me feet for you. Rack off.)
