Not Exactly What I Expected
This was to replace my old trunk. I looked everywhere and this was the only trunk I found that looked like my old trunk. Although, I was disappointed with the photos on Amazon. There was one picture that showed it shiny and one where it was matte. I took a gamble, hoping it was shiny but it was matte. I was also disappointed that the bar that came with it was not long enough for me to attach it to my scooter. Thankfully we had a random thin flat bar and tools in the garage. We cut the flat bar to size and drilled holes into it to secure the trunk to the scooter. I’m keeping it just because it was the only one in the correct shape and size for my needs.

small tail trunk.
Will not hold full face helmet. Hold 1/2 helmet easy and tight for 3/4 helmet. Bought own bolts and lock nuts to make as secure as possible. Also when you shut top it locks automatically. Was shipped to me with the case shut and locked with keys as mounting bolts ALL inside. No soft liner inside so bought some to line it so helmet didn't get scratched.

Good for the price
I installed mine on my V-Star 1300 and so far I like it. I added some reflectors to it to make it more visible at night. It’s a good looking box and goes well with my bike. Not bad at all for the price. However, don’t expect to fit a full face helmet. I chose this box because I didn’t want to replace my back rest and the way it opens is just perfect. All hardware is metric and the quality is not bad. The plastic is thin and sharp around the edge inside.

Lid is to small for the storage
The storage space is ok the big problem is the lid. The lid opening is smaller than the storage if I had known that before I would have gotten a different case.

Lock broke after a month.
This looked great on my lance Cali Classic Scooter. It fit the style of the scooter wonderfully. It's water proof and holds a lot of my belongings for business and my helmet too.But!!! The lock latch stopped working only after a month of use. Now I hold it close with a bungee cord. I was so disappointed in this top case.
