Can you steam vegetables?

The instructions that came with it aren't very good. I don't see anything about steaming vegetables.

Why do s my rice mushy, I put 1/2 cup rice in cup and put it in Pot, then add water to. 1/2 cup mark in pot. I rinse rice first. What's the trick?

Use the rice cup put 1 cup rice to 1 cup water after rice is done let rest for 5-10 minutes make ahead of time do you can let it rest it’s the moisture from the steam that’s making rice mushy just add equal amount of rice and water
