SAT Study Guide Premium, 2023: 8 Practice Tests + Comprehensive Review + Online Practice

After thoroughly going through both SAT prep books(Princeton and Barron) and solving all the questions, I strongly believe that Barron's guide is superior. The reason for my preference is that, in the reading section of the Princeton guide, practice questions are given from paragraphs that are randomly cut off with no contextual information provided about what occurred before or after the given paragraphs. In contrast, Barron's guide provides entire paragraphs with the storyline, making it easier to comprehend and closer to the actual format of the SAT test. While Princeton may have better explanations for some math concepts, Barron's guide has a larger number of practice questions, providing ample opportunity to hone one's skills. In conclusion, I highly recommend Barron's SAT prep guide because its extensive practice problems can greatly assist you when used alongside other free resources such as Khan Academy and materials found on Telegram and other websites. It is worth noting that while I did not achieve a perfect SAT score, this level of preparation helped me earn a score of 1460, which is respectable but not a perfect score of 1500. Therefore, I urge anyone aiming for a higher score to continue practicing and utilizing all the available resources.

I’m sure the content of the book is as good as it was when I was preparing for the SAT decades ago. I purchased this book for my daughter and the back cover was folded over in the box when it arrived. It isn’t going to take much for that section of the back cover to tear off.
