Very nice speakers. Laptops are not made to listen to music with onboard speakers. Those are primarily for system sounds. You need external speakers. I record songs using my interphase, but I like to play them back to see how they sound through a PC, I use my Laptop, very very low volume, thought I did something wrong in my sound settings, nope its the tiny speakers in the laptop. So I went searching for externals, and settled on these, they have perfect sound., and at a decent price and fast shipping.. Very satisfied.

This is a great product, fairly priced. I had been using smaller speakers with my desktop, but they didn't put out asmuch sound as I needed. These new speakers I bought at a great price, and they are much louder than my oldspeakers! Great product and great choice. I would definitely encourage you to buy these speakers, I feel like youwill be just as pleased with these speakers as I am!

VERY DISAPPOINTING. They sound like they're underwater or wrapped in cotton or something. And despite the muddy sound there's very little on the bass end. I wish I could return them because I am definitely going to replace them and give them away.

Very low price because they are as loud as my laptop. Not what I thought. At least they sound better then the laptop without headphones.

The twin USB jacks on the hub speaker and the longer tether out to the left-hand speaker were the features that drew me to this item. Although I did notice the booming effect with male vocals that others have mentioned, those are easily adjusted using standard computer settings; the result is good bass for speakers this size.But I suspect OROW paid for good components by simply foregoing the QC process altogether. My first set worked well for a short time and then the hub speaker developed a wiring fault, which I could temporarily correct by tapping on the side... but only temporarily. I sent them back for a replacement, and on the replacement, headphones plugged into the headphones jack produce a high-pitched undertone along with outputting sound through only one side. Given that I don't really *need* the headphones jack, I have kept the second set and put up with the inconvenience of having to switch my computer's sound output between the OROW speakers and my game controller's headphone output when needed.But is it really too much to ask these days for all features on a device to work?
