Real junk....
The compass I received was completely useless. I bought it months ago but today was the first time I tried to use it. Sorry to say straight from the box into the garbage.

Technically works but not practical
The needle works, but not as functional as one you'd get at Walmart (for similar price)... Usually you can see the index line underneath the bearing lines on the rotating bezel, but that's not the case with this one. No red 'shed' for the "put the red in the shed" mantra. If you're looking for a user friendly compass, don't get this one. If you're looking for one that a child would be entertained by, this will do.
