Ce petit sonomètre fait bien le boulot.Attention à tous les commentaires se plaignant que l'appareil indique 30 ou 40db dans des environnements silencieux... C'est tout simplement normal... Il suffit de se renseigner un minimum sur l'unité qu'est le db (et le db(A) au passage) pour comprendre un peu comment fonctionne l'acoustique et que ces valeurs ne sont pas linéaires.Il n'est sans doute pas aussi précis qu'un appareil professionnel mais est ce là son but ? Clairement Non ! Et les résultats qu'il renvoi semble parfaitement cohérents.Sa simplicité, son efficacité et son bas prix en font un petit accessoire recommandable !

Bought this to monitor overly loud music speakers at a work place and get a reduction in fatiguing noise level. Unit was at a great price. Cannot speak to the arcane science of DB readings, but this does the job of establishing if sound levels are healthy or not. Unit well built, performs well. Has a sturdy zip up protective case - an essential feature. Has a clear little operation manual, but no tables of safe/harmful noise levels - so look up what applies to your situation on the web.

Difficult to read on many audio sources. This is my first SPL meter so maybe just how they all are. Used it to calibrate a phone app which gives a much easier to read graph.
