When the Virus on Unknown Origin kicked off, I started getting very interested in longevity, health, and using food and natural supplements as a way of getting healthy.Dr David Sinclair introduced me to NMN, which took me down the path of NAC and glutathione, which led me to Apigenin thanks to LongevityBox... and now there's Fisetin.They all work in slightly different ways and, some are building blocks of others, but it benefits the body more to take the building blocks rather than the ultimate thing itself and, to be honest, I still don't understand the logistics most of it. Except to say am completely sold on the idea that we can use supplements like this to become healthy.Fisetin is, effectively, an antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory; it specifically removes old, dying, and dead cells from our body, which is extraordinary. Keeping our cells in a constant state of rejuvenation will absolutely slow the process of aging and it will increase lifespan.It has also been shown to reduce pre-cancer inflammatory markers in the cells, too, but there we're getting into stuff am in no way qualified to talk about. It's just worth looking into if Fisetin is something you're interested in taking.It's derived from nature, by the way - strawberries, apples, grapes and onions are very high in this particular flavonoid, but it's hard to eat enough of them for the body to extract enough to make a difference in the short term.But short bursts of Fisetin consumption along with a clean diet rich in fruits and vegetables and high quality protein and we're off to the races.Lastly, Fisetin is wonderful if you're keto. It can aid in autophagy - the process by which your body essentially eats its own unneeded, and unhealthy cells. This is the process that can cause loose skin after weight loss to tighten again... our bodies are just incredible things! And things like Fisetin can give them the help they sometimes need, and very much deserve.So why 4 stars instead of 5? To be honest, it's that I don't really know anything about this company, and longevity supplements are a bit of a wild west at the moment, so am ever so slightly skeptical. But that's a personal thing, and definitely isn't a reflection of the company.Either way, highly recommended.

It is entirely possible that fisetin supplements are just pricier than most, but the asking price of £25 for thirty capsules is quite a serious investment. The capsules are clearly well-made, looking a lot like other high-quality supplements I've seen in that they are made from two overlapping halves of a clear shell with the powdered contents clearly visible inside, no air gaps or anything indicating under-filling or poor quality-control. As it is nigh impossible for me to say for definite what difference they've made in the time I've been taking them I can only go by the appearance of the capsules and also the bottle, which is a fairly sturdy black plastic with an easily unscrewable lid and reasonably clear instructions on the side. Unless you really want to spend £300 on these every year though, they might not be the best option for use as an ongoing supplement...

I got these to try and get back to feeling better than I felt after being ill and I just never got back to full health. I felt tired, had aches, and my concentration wasn't as it used to be.I've been raking these as directed,I can't say I'm back to 100% but I think when taking supplements we have to have faith that they are helping and so who is to say that if we weren't taking them we would be feeling worse.
