I purchased these storage bins with the noble intention of filling them with soft blankets for the outdoor strays — a tiny sanctuary, a cozy nook, a feline Airbnb with a five‑star turndown service. In my mind, these bins were spacious, sturdy, and capable of holding at least one loaf‑shaped cat and their emotional baggage. Without the lid, I'm not a monster. Then they arrived. They are, in fact, the size of a banana. Not a bunch. A single banana. Maybe two if they’re feeling ambitious and want to snuggle. I don’t know why this keeps happening to me. I understand measurements in theory. I can read numbers. I passed math. Trig even. And yet, every time I order something with dimensions listed plainly in the description, my brain says, “Yes, that sounds enormous,” and then the universe hands me a tiny plastic box suitable only for storing paperclips, regrets, or perhaps a little mouse family with minimalist tendencies. The bins themselves are great — sturdy, clear, and latch with the confidence of something that knows it will never be asked to house a living creature. They are perfect for craft supplies, receipts, or the collection of Allen wrenches IKEA has cursed me with. Tape them to the back of the thing they came with, though, I PROMISE you'll need the exact one again. Five stars for quality. Zero stars for my ongoing inability to visualize scale. The cats remain unimpressed but warm, thanks to Plan B (they decided they wanted to live inside).

Exceptional container that fulfilled my exact need. As a college student, it is quite easy for notes to accumulate and become quite disorderly. And considering I use only B5 paper, it was hard to find containers that were 1) great quality, 2) did not waste space 3) was inexpensive and 4) stackable. That was until i found this set of containers which is able to meet all of my requirements!

I have a small collection of self-published Japanese artbooks that require careful storage, as if damaged they are basically impossible to replace due to non-existent supply, and by standard convention most of these are B5 and A4-sized. B5-size document cases are extremely difficult to find at all in the U.S., so the fact that Citylife's are available at all is a godsend. When it comes to A4-size document cases though, I have tried a number of other products, but these Citylife cases are the only ones I like: all the other cases have sharp protrusions on the inside that easily damage paper as it shifts around, which is totally unacceptable. These Citylife cases are also made of a much thicker, firmer plastic than the rest, and have no weird residue typical of cheaper plastic cases. The fit is a little bit roomier than I'd expect, but this is probably a good thing for usability, as a tighter fit might make it difficult to take the contents out. Since the inside surfaces are completely smooth and unproblematic anyway, I haven't noticed any damage to things shifting around inside. I highly, highly recommend these for any B5 or A4-size documents you care about; they're peerless at the price point.

I purchased a bunch of these to help organize the literature closet for the non-profit with which I volunteer. We do a lot of public outreach, and stock a variety of brochures, pamphlets, and handouts which inevitably tend to get scrambled together as people failed to put them back where they belong at the end of an event. These boxes are very good for that purpose. They hold 8.5 x 11 handouts easily, as well as both trifold and bifold brochures. Preparing for an event just means grabbing the boxes that we're interested in passing out, putting them in our rolling carts, and going. When we're done, they go right back on the shelf where the next person can find them. Stocking them is a simple matter. No more mixed up piles of literature all over the place. These boxes are not particularly clear come as advertised. They are translucent at best. You can see what's inside, but you can't really read it. But that pretty much comes with the territory for this type of box. They are pretty heavy duty: I have dropped them on the ground from about 4 ft, loaded with paper, and no damage was done to the boxes. The latches which hold the lid on are the prime point of failure on these boxes. I've already had one box knocked out of commission because the latches snapped off. Which makes these really inappropriate for lugging around with you to events. But as long as there are more or less staying in one place, they're fine. The reason I only gave this four stars instead of five is a combination of the relatively lightweight latches and the cost. Almost $10 apiece for a box this size is pretty pricey. But they serve their purpose pretty well, and our literature shelves are a lot more pleasant to deal with now.

Love the containers! Purchased to hold reams of paper and printer labels for our business and they are the perfect size and conveniently stackable for storage. One of the boxes arrived broken, but customer service was quick to respond and offer a partial refund for the cost of the broken container. I was more than satisfied with the resolution and will buy more containers from them as my needs increase.

I brought these to organize all my kids school pictures and crafts instead of having them all put in a drawer I love that I can have each kids have their own storage containers that contains all there school pictures and crafts.

I need at least a few more! Perfect size for so many things. Go pro selfie stick? Fits. Larger bandages and wraps in the closest? Great. Random baking stuff I don't need often? Away it goes! Quality is fine, not super sturdy but good enough for what I need. I'll probably buy another set or two for sure.
