Great and exactly what we were looking for. A comfy foam mattress for our RV that wasn't too thick that would impact our head room. We did open it up in the garage ~5 degrees and it didn't really expand at all. When we brought it into our house and gave it overnight to warm up, it expanded right away.

Sometime ago, I bought a small 6x8 foot camper and outfit the interior myself. I chose a Lucid folding foam mattress that folded in sections to become a couch. Along with the rear back board I created, the couch was more comfortable than any dinette seating in any of our 3 previous travel trailers. It could be folded down flat and used as a mattress. I knew it was only 4 inches thick but it was perfect. I never felt the wood floor underneath and although firm, it provided a great night's sleep. Now today we have a new truck camper and while the OEM 4 inch foam mattress is better than most, I saw this opportunity and had to have it. The stock mattress isn't memory foam, or if it is, I've never seen it that firm. In any case, this particular Lucid 5 inch Gel Memory Foam mattress is even better than the Lucid folding mattress I had previously loved. It is both soft and firm. It doesn't bottom out. It welcomes me when I lay on it. It comforts me and relaxes me. It soothes me and stimulates fantasies of camping. I find myself going out for what I call "camper naps" (its a new camper, remember). It's actually hard to just get out of bed ..... it won't let go, it's that comfortable :-) Also, I might add ... the original folding mattress had two small cavities in the foam. I contacted Lucid's Customer Support via email (with supporting jpegs) and was treated very professionally by a friendly associate. She was very apologetic and understanding. A new folding mattress arrived at my door 4 days later. I always support companies that provide a positive customer service experience.

Bought for out popup trailer. WAY better than the stock mattress. Getting much better sleep. Definitely would recommend this product.
