Great picture
So far so good! I'm really enjoying this projector. It is very bright and performs well even in a room with standard lighting. The picture quality is better than I expected. I'm really impressed with how clear an image this thing presents. It is very easy to use and very easy to set up. I have no complaints to this point and don't see where any will arise. We will see how this thing holds up with football season around the corner!

Awesome projector
Amazing projector for a really nice cost. BenQ is a really nice brand and this projector works amazingly. It has very nice quality and is extremely bright. Also it isn’t that expensive compared to other brands.

Great for what it's designed for, Hometheater is ok.
My first impressions of this thing were awesome. I ordered the Benq Mw526ae model (refurbished) which is rated at 3300 lumens and it is very bright. I threw in a couple of pictures comparing it to my $100 budget Db power t20 projector. Obviously it blew that one out of the water in terms of brightness and Image quality.Zoom function worked well although it sounded like there was some dirt in there.Focus was great and easy to do. Maintained a sharp focus across the whole image.Unfortunately I will have to return this projector because it didn't want to work very well with my computers. I have a chromebook that I usually stream from and when I tried to stream from that the video was very very choppy. Juddering and it looked like I was watching it in 5 or 6 FPS. So I switched over to my expensive MSI gaming laptop and it handled it a lot better with fewer judders but they were still there. It actually was driving me a bit insane because it was something I couldn't un-notice. My roommates computer handled it great though and playback was pretty smooth. I understand this juddering can happen because most cinematic video is shot in 24 fps or at least thats what we receive it as. So the refresh rate of a laptop can cause the projector to judder because it is at a much higher refresh rate than the footage it is sending to the projector. Some say you can fix this by changing your 60 Hertz refresh rate to something with a multiple of 24, but my laptop was not able to do so. You could also probably get around this issue if you used an amazon fire stick or roku to stream from but I do not own either of them. The last thing that is making me return it is the fact that the throw isn't quite short enough for what I want.I thought about buying an Amazon fire stick but I figured for the price I might be able to return this one and get a deal on a refurbished short throw projector instead because I will probably be in tight spaces for the next few years.BOTTOM LINE, Buy this projector if you-Have 11ft to get a 100" image-streaming stick of some type or dvd player-a sound system to hook it up to-or want to just use it for presentations. (Works great, and obviously that's what it's designed for)

Incredible picture! Using Outdoors on blow up screen!
Wow! Incredible quality for the price. So stoked with this purchase. Did about 4 hours of online research and found this to be perfect for our needs. Got it and had our family movie night in the backyard for two back-to-back evening parties - it performed really well on our blow up screen just after dusk - in So Cal so there are still lots of city lights, but the projector quality and image was excellent even outdoors at night.

If you can spend a little extra, do it
owned this for about 6 months now. at first i purchased a mini LCD projector for $120, thinking that it would suffice. i was definitely wrong, and decided to invest a little extra in this one. no complaints! for it’s been perfect for my apartment that i’d just moved into, especially since i was not about to drop hundreds more on a new tv. quality is flawless. no issues so far. first photo shows the quality with the blinds wide open. second is in complete darkness.

Excellent WXGA projector for $300-400 range
I make weekly presentations with PowerPoint and Google slides. I couldn't justify the cost ($600) for an Epson WXGA. After much research and trying other brands, this BenQ was just as bright and clear for just over half the price.

Awesome projector!
The video is awesome. The ability to to zoom and focus makes this a great projector as you can place it just about anywhere. The speakers it comes with are pretty pathetic, but truth be told, the ability to have a 100"+ you would want to add a better sound system anyhow. The light output is plenty for a room with some ambient light as well as some room lighting. The picture is best with the room as dark as possible though. Picture brightness can be adjusted through the projector settings to achieve a picture quality suited to your environment.
